World Poker Tour
when its on tv..

Yeah I have complete season 1 and season 2 on DVDs for the WPT hehe, so entertaining.
Phil Ivey is one of my favorites, him and Laak/Antonio are awesome. They let Phil Laak ( The Unabomber ) and Antonio ( The Magician ) Do commentaries for some of the special features on the DVD sets. Negreanu is good ..
But Phil Ivey is on top of his game, he plays in ultra high stake cash games nightly with pots of 500k-1 million dollars. Hes got some skills for sure and is still very young. Hes also one of the chip leaders in the main event of the world series of poker, he wil probaly take the bracelet.

After hearing that Greg Raymer is in the Final 27 this year, I'm begining to like him. Lot's of people thought it was a fluke he won the Main Event last year, but getting through that size of a field 2 years in a row is not all luck. But if I had to pick favourite players of mine Sammy Farha would have to be on of them, fucking love this guys style. Ivey is also the bomb, as well as Hellmuth when's he's not being a total asshole.
Can't forget about Johnny Chan either.

Gus is not bad, but it seems a lot of the time I watch him he makes some pretty bad calls (goin all in wit shit all) Antonio the magician is one of my favs but he is a lucky SOB most of the time. How come no ones mentioned Chris Moneymaker?

Raymer and Ivey are out, 25th and 20th.
That bluff by Moneymaker in the 2003 final was dope, but he really hasn't done anything since that. He was out on the first day in the 2004 and 2005 main events. I thought both him and Raymer were lucky to win, but after how well Raymer did this year with such a huge field this year it seems Moneymaker really is the lucky one.

Was so dissapointed when I read the WSOP logs last night .. Ivey and Raymer both out ..
Ivey went all in with JJ pre flop, called by KK ...king landed on the flop and that was that. Why risk your entire tournament on a coin flip when your down to the final 20 of 5600 ppl ...! I guess he was thinking no one would call, not that JJ is a bad hand to go all in on ..but damn. edit typos Last edited by Technique; Jul 16, 05 at 12:41 PM.
