I finally saw it. I really liked it. I'm still thinking about it.

The acting was excellent. Although it was a little cliché seeing Anna Faris in a role that she always plays--- motormouth blonde. I think two of the best scenes are when Michelle Williams first discovers Mark and Ennis kissing, and then later on when she confronts Ennis about how there never was any fish from their fishing trips.

This really was Heath's movie though. I can see why there is little to no attention towards Jake Gyllenhaal's performance. I've never seen Heath do a role this serious, but he pulls it off. I think he just might win some awards.

And as for Anne Hathaway knowing about the affair, I think she did. The phone call scene, the beats, the silence, the tears... it all adds up. It's interesting to look back at the movie and see who knows, when they found out, and what they did about it.
