not really, some parts are funnier if you ahve seen the first one, such as the milk lady and a few other things but i went with someone who hadn't seem the firs tand they got it just fine

Clerks 2 was just too funny. I haven't seen Clerks, but I still really enjoyed part 2. The most messed up part was with Kelly and the Stud, it was funny, but so fucked at the same time.

Seen every one of Kevin Smith's movies (even that jersey girl bullshit) I thought you knew me better than that, Ebbomega.

He's done movies centered around relationships that were signifigantly lighter on the cheese factor (mallrats anyone?).

That whole part with the dancing on the rooftop and the Jackson 5 song made me want to gouge my fucking eyes out it was so cheesy. Maybe it's just because I'm so sick of that song, but that's my opinion. Just because I have it doesn't mean I'm unfamiliar with his work. duhhh.

But yeah, he's done them less on the cheese factor, but he's also done them more on the cheese factor.

This movie seemed to be a lot of "Look at all these neat camera tricks I learned on Jersey Girl! I CAN DO CAMERA MOTION NOW! LOOKA MEEEEEEE!"
