I've always been a musical person. I've pretty much been involved with music intensively since I was 4 when my parents made me take piano lessons. I moved to the violin when I was around 7 and worked on that for a little over 8 years. When my bow broke in September 1997 I didn't have the heart to replace it and I guess I was just sick of getting yelled at by my violin teachers to practice more. I went through my grade 10 year void of the pressure to pass my upcoming grade 8 violin test and the 2nd level theory. I went through a phase that year of getting interested in good sound systems while bumpin mainly 2pac, Timbaland, Redman and Notorious BIG constantly. I also got seriously sucked into the bboy scene. Into 1999 I was a serious pop and locker wannabe who just wanted to find more places to dance with loud music as long as possible. I started hitting up all night all age parties around Vancouver, getting my dance fix but also being exposed to DJs responsible for getting everyone dancing. I hit up more and more parties, curious to the whole electronic music scene. It was inevitable that I would eventually save up enough money after high school to buy my own DJ setup. I've been totally hooked on the DJ culture since. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - What type of music do you specialise in? -Progressive, soulful, funky, deep, dark house, trance & techno. -Soulful, dark, techstep, bumpin, Latin, UK Mahhssive Drum n Bass -Mainstream Hip hop, RnB, Reggaeton, House -Mash up of anything good. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Most expensive vinyl that you have paid for? - how much was it? SERATO! As for wax.... hmmm could of been the bootleg breaks remix of Tomoyasu Hotei - Battle Without Honour for about $30-$40 off of ebay. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - What is your most treasured record and why? I have barely touched my records since I got serato. But the one that truly pops into mind is my copy of Pressure Rise - Changes... def was a hard record for DJs to own. I played the hell out of it but I'm sure it still sounds great. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - What do you like the most about DJing? What more can I say, I wouldn't be here today if the old school didn't pave the way... DJ's i've looked up to are, Dieselboy for his awesome mixing technique. Andy C for his track selection and mixing technique. John Digweed for his ability to make minimal potentially boring sounding music into the sickest shit you've ever heard on the dancefloor. DJ Rectangle for his technical abilities as a crowd rockin hip hop dj/dmc Bad Boy Bill cuz he's just sick as fuck. DJ Dan for his awesome crowd rockin ability with the diverseness of house music. i have middle fingah and another one with some sort of "phrase" title burned and scratched up in my old gym bag, they were my music to listen to while doing the treadmill. Not super fast, but enough to keep up a good pace haha.

In the tail end of my massive days, the few colliseum parties I went to after plaza shut down, I always remembered you opened in the second room and always ended up missing it lol.
