Well they are comfortable as well. But you can be comfortable in baggy sweat pants.
I'm pretty sure it's the fact that you can be comfortable in them, while still wearing something that accentuates your assets.

Pants like that and lulus are so comfortable though. I don't think many girls would wear them if they weren't comfortable. If I had to choose between comfy frumpy pants that weren't flattering and comfy pants that made my ass look phenominal, I'd choose the latter.
