I had some complaints that I already sent back, so she's going to work on them. ie, i want the bite looking more real, flesh from the dragon and infection, and also the zombie grabbing the dragon as opposed to the "hugging" feel i got.

but everything else is fuckin wicked.

I really DO like your sketch and idea, but to me the tattoo artist used way to thick of a needle to out line with, there is no detail, or character, it looks very 2-d and flat. I personaly think it could have been done way better, thats just my opinion, no offence to you at all.

Outlines are supposed to be 2D and flat.

Since he got the shading done it actually looks a lot better.

^^mabie if your getting tribal or traditional, but thats japanese style, its ment to have definition, detail and character, my outlines are insanly detailed, it looks realistic, there is a whole seen going on in my piece, thats how a good tattoo should be done. he had I wicked idea, I really like people who desin or plot out there tattoo instread of going to a random shop and picking out some lame tribal crap of the wall.....you can tell the difference between art, and cut and paste 2d tracing.

as long as he is happy thats all that counds :)

correct I am white, but I hate to say it dude, shes not that good of an artist, japanese or not. I think you should have look at her work, not the color of her skin..;)


here is two sessions so far with my guy 4 hours so far, just an outline and lost more to do, the rest of the outline, shading, color, sorry but its hard to take pics by my self on my phone, they are blury and bad angles..lol

Well, 1 complaint out of around 200 isnt too bad :)

I personally love this tattoo and I cant wait till she finishes off the sleeve. To each their own right?

The shading is done but the coloring is next, the zombie will be full color, the dragon is going to be this blueish green and then she wants to put wind bars on to give it more life. I was hoping to somehow have a ninja also wrapped up in the dragon, we'll see how it goes. If not, the ninja will be on the right forearm.
