when i first started bouncing.. i was trained on how to be a jerk, how not to take shit and how to throw people out, when i started at lamplighter, i was the lonley guy for 6 months using what i had learned as a way to end issues. The head bartender who is a brown belt in ninjitsu (this guy, can kill people instantly) trained me on how to do the job properly. our reputation at the lamp started growing. we sold more shows out, had record number bar sales and everyone was shocked at how we did things there. People who would get psyched for shows often tell everyone on various message boards/blogs praising the barstaff and particularly the doormen on how fantastic we were in which we started having huge lineups.. thus growing more so in popularity.. unfortunetely, we got bought out and the new owners decided to shut the lamplighter down.
