Another game that is coming out in a few weeks is Call of Duty 4. Great game judging from the Beta. It's more realistic and energized then Halo 3 but we will see if the can pull of the vehicles like halo.

Halo 3 is definitely challenging online and they did put a lot more effort into that. It's the only thing that keeps me interested in a game because i enjoy the competition and strategy.

fighting the flood is bunk. brutes are way better to kill.

even though it's easier to just charge them and smack them with the butt of your grenade launcher rather than shooting them.

I for one was happy not to fight the plant from "little shop of horrors".

But fighting the flood has always been the worst part of halo. There's no tactics, just "Gee, I hope I don't run out of ammo." Although four player co-op online makes the flood levels alright, not great, but alright.

Best titles for XBox 360 imo...
Bioshock - its totally immersive, weird, and creepy
Halo 3 - short but sweet
Call of Duty 2 or 3 - WWII shooters never get boring
Far Cry: Instincts: Evolution - two immersive singleplayer games in one
Dead Rising - killing zombies has never been this much fun

Also, I believe The Orange Box is out today, which includes (Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1, Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portals, and Team Fortress 2) - Definitely gonna pick this one up asap.

Halo 3 is awesome... the graphics are just amazing... the online play is so addictive it's just rediculus

instead they just copy the ending of the first one but add a couple of corners. lazy bastards.

rainbow 6 is the best multiplayer FPS for realistic tactical skill

bioshock has a rich visual experience , extensive storyline and is pretty much worthy of rawb's zeal

the new gta will be coming around soon enough ... until then , meh ... detach that SATA cable and mod your xbox , burn your games off of torrents

I just picked up Bioshock... I should really finish Halo 3, NHL 08 and Assassin's Creed first before purchasing games... I was going to pick up Viva Pinata today as well, it's only $20 at Best Buy right now, $15 if you go to the new store in Burnaby (by Metrotown) and grab a $5 off coupon. Other titles I have heard good things about include: Gears of War and Mass Effect.

Everyone I've talked to about Mass Effect have nothing but good things to say about it. If you like action shooter RPGs, you'll love Mass Effect.

Mass effect is good. It's got problems but overall really good.

Gears of war is great. Once you use the cover system in that though, you won't want to go back to other shooters.

Rainbow 6 Vegas is another great shooter. Has a slow start but really picks up and has some great multiplayer.

assassin's creed is freaking awesome, climbing buildings riding horses through kingdom making some crazy fighting moves, 5/5 in my books

halo 3 is still the online game for me... i tried to get into call of duty 4 but i just don't like it as much. i mean what can be more fun than sticking someone in the temple?

i just got command and conquer tw... seems alright, i just wanted to play a strategy game....

oh and i bought two worlds, and returned it after a day... it's neither good nor bad... just didn't want to play it... i guess i used to play wow and that game couldn't top it... and there was never anyone online to play with... meh

Beat Assassin's Creed and BioShock. Working on Rainbow Six: Vegas, Gears of War and Halo 3 right now. In love with arcade games: Puzzle Fighter and Luminez. I also have NHL 08, Scene It, Guitar Hero 3 and the two games my xbox 360 came with. Interested in picking up Mass Effect, but not looking forward to putting the time in for it.

I want Rock Band.

mass effect is one of the best games i've ever played! the graphics are ok.. not mindblowing but the story is cool, and exploring through the milky way is pretty neat!

still haven't been able to get into bioshock. i'm always running out of ammo and cash! the security bots are so damn annoying too. i like the moral dillema aspect when harvesting adam. I went the good way first, was told that i need alot more adam to survive in rapture so i went the evil way with the 2nd kid.. and the game made me feel really bad. but yeah now i'm stuck where the bee hives are and wish there were some cheat codes to get more shotgun buck to buck those crazyass splicer psychos

the bigs is a good game if you want an easy baseball game. really fun for multiplayer

virtua tennis 3 is fun too. great graphics... one of the few 360 games that actually has native 1080p graphics

nhl 09 is super sick

enjoyed mercenaries 2. bought it because I was a big fan of the first one on ps2. finished it really quickly tho.. seems like a trend with 360 games... the games are all pretty short.
