Not even. It caters more to the general public, not people that identify themselves as gamers in any real way, shape or form.

The "gamer" demographic is really very small when you think about it, and that's the main reason that Xbox is flopping so heavily anywhere other than North America.

Wii doesn't suck, it just doesn't cater to gamers. As a result it's the most successful gaming system in the world right now.

If they had the controls tighter for FPS's I would be all over the Wii, but they don't and that sucks.... NHL09 is not comming out for the Wii, for me that sucks cause it's pretty much my number one game that I'm into nd I know exactly how the control should be, and I'm sure EA knows as well but the technology is just not that tight.

agreed, one reason why i liked COD4 so much was that the graphic were as intense as the gameplay.

for online gaming, first person shooters, and all things halo (including halo wars, the new rts game coming out) i say xb360

for single player games, especially racing genre, ps3 (other than that, ps3 is sort of lame right now)

for interactivity, unique style gameplay, FUN home multiplayer, deffinitely the wii. when im alone or playing online im on xbox, when im with other people its wii. choose based on your reason for having the console. they all work. its like mac vs windows vs linux. depends on what and who youll be playing with, and what software you plan to use.

I have all three systems and the 360 is the only one I really play. I bought a wii spontaneously and haven't really played it more than once. I have a PS3 and I only use it to watch blu-ray. There are just more games on the 360 that entertain me.

If you're not really into FPS and shit talking 14 year olds calling you gay on xbox live, then I wouldn't get the 360. If you're not really a solo gamer playing side scrollers, racing, or fighting games, don't get the ps3. Wii is the safest bet if you aren't looking for something serious.
