GAMERS***umm NINTENDO WII OR PS3 OR XOBX 360 elite? your opinion

so i wanted to get something but im not sure which one. i have personally only played XBOX 360 elite. but i was told nintendo wii is much better so i thought id take it to the board to see what u all had to say :nuts:

im a huge fan of mario kart but i really love dead or alive 4**

i personally love my ps3, good games and plays divx movies as well.

I also have my psp with 2000 nes/snes games on it + harvest moon.

I got a ps3 I love the games on it
and that it plays blue ray and all that, if you hook up the HDMI stuff its awesome

but the xbox is wicked as well... just has different kinds of awesome games

it would really depend on the types of games you like to play, they are all great systems but offer something different from each other in game play

Well - the Wii (for the most part) is a pick up a play type console - adult/action oriented titles are "usually" not released for it. Fun stuff like Mario Kart, drunken Wii bowling, etc. is what the console is good for.

PS3/Xbox is for the more hardcore gamer. Once you answer what you plan on using your console for, that should answer which of the two camps you'll be in. Then will be the battle of PS3 vs. Xbox.

If you're a hardcore gamer, you'll probably like the 360

If you're just looking for a fun system to waste time on, you'll probably like the Wii

If you're a really hardcore gamer, you'll probably just get all three anyways.

yeah its just for fun:) waste time drunken gaming etc. so i think wii sounds about right.

sadly i guess wont be able to play my hardcore fighting games...sigh*

i have a wii and a ps3. Wii is more of a party system - probably better off for a secondary system unless you are a nintendo fanatic.

The PS3 is alright - I bought i mainly for the BluRay player tho. Most of the big 3rd party franchises are available on both 360 and ps3. 360 seems to have a more robust library although it's a little heavy on the 1st person shooters... Sounds like some good RPGs are on its way tho (especially if you like the JRPGs).

I'm still a little wary of the Red Ring of Death issue on the 360 which, from all reports, is still happening - even on the latest production line. When basically every single person I know that owns a 360 is on at least their 2nd 360, then you know there are problems...

if you're looking for games that you want to play single player, the wii isn't the best. Although Mario Galaxy, Metroid, Zelda, Mario RPG are good... there's not much else. 3rd party support is abysmal too.

xbox ruins lives, people start playing and they never stop. they loose their jobs, gf's, friends, not worth it. total home wrecker.


go with the wii, good clean fun that can be shared with everyone.
