I have to you disagree with you on this one....reading this hit a soft spot. :( I've been with my boy for a little over 2 years now and I dislike one of his friends very much. In the begining it was hard b/c I didn't want them hanging out. It did create lots of tension and drama between us but he didn't dump me b/c of it. He knew that I was something special and that what we were starting to develop as a couple wasn't worth just getting rid of me for. We stuck it out. Yes, there were some bad times and they still aren't peachy but saying BYE to them just isn't fair.

I don't know your situation or anything, but I highly think that if you were in a relationship with someone that you deeply cared for you would see things in a different light.

im naturaly a flirt always have been always will be. but i would never cheat. and to the topic of this thread, yes ppl who cheat in relationships(and its not an open relationship) may i say SIIIICK!!! that you can't just say BYE to them like that just b/c they don't want you to hang out with someone. There is something called feelings. And when you are in a relationship with someone the feelings take a part. It's easier said then done.

It's not really a case of control. It's more of a respect thing. If the person has a reason for not wanting you to be friends with said person, it's not a reason to get ride of them. But anyways.. this is kinda getting off topic. *lol* I was just putting in a qucik thought :)

ahh but in ur case it sounds diff it sounds like u guys are mutual about it.=) sounds like u both agree that this is the healthiest thing for the two of u;) which is different. some ppl actually get into a relationship where one person is really jelouse of certain ppl because they are insecure about them selves. i have a few big relationships(4 years, 2 years, and 1 year) in my 4 year one my ex was jelouse of ppl who i had been friends with for years. and tried to tell me who i could hang out with and who i couldnt hang out with. the only reason, insecure. he tried to control me. not going to happen.

If you think you're going to cheat (or you do cheat), then maybe you shouldn't be in a relationship at all- it's not fair to anyone involved.

haha is this going to be an on going thing? I never asked him to cut off anyone. I said that I didn't like one of his friends and just b/c I didn't like him doens't mean that he should be getting rid of me. Not that it's any of your business but his friend is still around and when he is around I suck it up and hang out with them. I'm doing my part as a "good girlfriend" and accepting the friend b/c I know that he's going to be around for a long time. It's not worth it.
