They will, however, continue to Perform random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, Airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service Agents who are members of the President's security detail, And 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips. Let's pause a moment and take the following test: In 1972, 11 Israeli athletes were killed at the Munich Olympics by: (a) Grandma Moses; (b) The night cleaning crew at Rockefeller Centre; (c) Invaders from Mars; or (d) Arab Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40. In 1979, the US embassy in Iran was taken over by: (a) Norwegians from the Lichen Herbarium of the University of Oslo; (b) Elvis; (c) A tour bus full of 80-year-old women; or (d) Arab Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40. On 9/11/01 four airliners were hijacked and destroyed by: (a) Bugs Bunny, Will E. Coyote, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd. (b) The US Supreme Court, (c) Barney; or (d) Arab Muslim male extremists mostly between the ages of 17 and 40. I could be WAY off here, if so ignore me...
yeah, I fail enough tests as is... but I think profiling in airports, as discriminatory as it may be, should be taking place. sorry, but when was the last time a caucasian canadian tried to smuggle explosives onto a plane in his shoes?

I'll say this for airport security.
I'm no expert on math, but I've made a round estimate on the number of hijacking women going through airports, it's about 0%. on this same note I made a estimate on the number of 80 year old, white grandmothers who had highjacked planes within the last three years. My estimate was somewhere in the neighborhood of zero.. So I don't want to be racist or anything, but I will make a general profile, that those two groups don't hijack planes on a regular basis. So why have 4 hour line ups, just so we can pretend that we aren't racially sterotyping everyone. Guy from afganastan comes, welcome to canada. Because we want to pretend here, we are searching everyone and confiscating anything ranging from pens, to cracker jacks. This means you will have to wait 4 hours before you can get out of customs, while we confiscate #2 pencils from that practically dead grandmother. or Weclome to canada, I'm not saying your a terroist, but it's pretty obvious your countrymen have a tendency to blow up planes. Can you please take 5 mins extra and go through a simple search, as long as you don't have c-4 strapped to your shoe, your pretty much fine. So what do you think makes more sense.

I have to agree that this whole airport security thing has gotten a little outta hand lately. I mean, it's obviously a necessity with all these terroists attacks, but to make people stand in a grueling four hour line-up in a muggy airport while strangers in polyester uniforms mingle through your personals and throw away nail clippers, eyelash curlers, lipsticks, tweezers, etc. I mean "COME ON!" What kind of terroist attack can one do with a tweezer and a CoverGirl lipstick in Nude Shade??? :184: I know that they're doing their job... but do the job BETTER!
