Do you have any thing that you keep secret from your parents that if they only knew they would laugh or be really upset. I know guys who have successfully lied to their parents about smoking for years even though they still live at home. or... if my mom only knew just how much pot i smoked... she'd throw a conniption fit. =)

shadenfreuden. lets say i were a chick, and my mom thought i was an angel. then one day i dropped the bomb on her and told her i was a lesbian and have been one for years. you know what i mean? what kind of funny stuff are you keeping secret but in lieu of it all 'it' allowing it to get rediculously rediculous? like... blowing whole pay checks on something they just wouldn't understand?

obviously just for entertainment sake. try not to pour your heart out and make this shit all wierd.

i just dont tell my mom about my sex life. otherwise, she knows pretty much everything.

the last big thing i lied to her about, was going to raves. so for spooky 1, we dressed her like a candy raver, stuck a soother in her mouth, put her on a leash and brought her to see what they were all about. she is more old skool then most of the kids on this board.

they've been really cool/understanding about everything. hell i've even blazed with them.

i dont think too many people are going to reveal such personal secrets, cuz for the most part, secrets from parents are ones you take the grave.

I tell my Mom that I rarely to never eat fast food when I actually eat it 3 or 4 times a month. it sounds dumb but my Mom is a serious health nut and raised me on an all natural/organic diet. other than that we are both very open about our lives.

I'm not open emotionally about anything with my whole family pretty much, but that is something that I pretty much do with everyone else in my life :P

I think my parents knew about pretty much every stupid thing I did/still do though.

she's looking so good these days! yoga, pillates, surfing, and a really healthy diet do wonders!

I'm all for the healthy life style and do very well in most regards. if I don't have to time to make lunch before work though fast food is all I have time for during my 30 minute break.

I tried to keep everything a secret from my parents when I was younger - I told them 'raves' were all night dance parties and actually got them to drive me a few times before they clued in.

They eventually found out about all the stupid things I was doing - going to clubs, ID's, drinking/drugs, sex and it was really hard for them to cope because they were amazing and couldn't fathom why I was doing the things I was doing.
In the end they helped me get through all of it and I feel so blessed to have had that kind of support.
Especially my mom she's the most amazing woman I know and I feel terrible for putting her through what I did but I think i'm a better person now as a result of it.

Plus we're super close now, there are no secrets between us and I ask her for advice all time <3

My parents pretty much know nothing of what I've done nor for how long. However, if I did let them know, I guaranteee that they wouldn't love me more or less than they do now. Yeah, I've done drugs and probably drink way too much sometimes, and yet, my parents would still love me unconditionally. My brother and sister have done stuff way worse than I have, and my parents have never changed their opinions of them.

i have a big outdoor dog. and it's been getting cold lately. so i've been sneaking him into the house at night so he can sleep infront of the fire place for a bit. i sometimes feel bad for letting him back outside because it might feel colder afterwards. but my mom hates how he messes and stinks up the house whenever he comes in. so that's a secret i don't mind keeping between me and my dog.

im very close with my parents, my mom nags the shit out of me because she has a general idea of whats going on. which is why i need a decent career so i can move out and be gone with this shit.

anyway my parents have always been pretty clever because when i was young they knew i was up to shit long before i told them.

anyway right now they have a pretty good knowledge of the basics of what i do but im afraid if they found out exactly what ive done they would be more then a little bit more concerned then they are now.


its all good though because i pretty much had the best parents anyone could have, one of my ultimate goals in life is to be as good as a parent to my children as my parents were. Naturally im a competitive person and would want to be better then them, though honestly i dont think its possible.
