yeah, i know someone who's cat started peeing on the floor by the litter. after some testing at the vet office, it was revealed that his kidneys were failing. this is a terminal condition obviously, the people who owned it loved it, a lot. they did what they could for him, he lived for another 3 years at least. now, that being said, only maybe 1 of those years was spent in half assed happyness and comfort for the cat.
i saw him right before he died and he was litteraly a skeleton with fur on it. and even then some of them wanted to try to prolong his suffering (life)
i think that while they had all good intentions, they were doing quite the opposite from what the right thing would be.
if you love your animal you don't want it to be in pain right?
so keeping it alive because you're too selfish to let go, is cruelty in its own right.

had to vent.
end rant.

how is your kitty doing?

i don't know a lot about cats but i was once told that cat's will pee where they smell pee on something, like if your kitty had an accident once on your blanket then it'll smell the pee there even after you've washed the blankey and she'll pee there again!
i think industrial strenght vinegar for cleaning helps with cat pee!

I'm sorry but, were you talking to me?

If you were then listen up: My cat wasn't in any pain. He lived the rest of his life happy and healthy. When he finally came to the end (at the age of 17) we had him put down due to fact the he was in fact in pain. I would NEVER keep ANY of my pets alive for my own selfishness. If they are in pain and are going to live a shitty life then I am 100% behind putting them down to end their suffering. I'm not sure where you got that Rambo was in pain for the rest of his life because we put some money into saving his life... but I think you need to get your facts straight before you start your little rant. I know you have horses but this doesn't make you anymore of a pet "expert" then anyone else that's had pets all their lives. :)

She's right about this one. Jovi, make sure you wash your shit like crazy or she will keep peeing where she smells her other accidents. :)
