there's like a formula for "too young" that kids learn and memorize before the actual age of consent. But how appealing does "plus 7 times 2" sound?

25 + 7 x 2 = good fucking god.

how old would you go (relative to your current age)?

and how old have you gone (relative to how old you were then)?

Well I'm going on 27 this year but I'd have no qualms about dating a woman that's up to 33.

The reverse isn't really the same rule. It's more that's how old they have to get before it's considered irresponsible for them to date you, not the other way around.

And your math is still off laska. The opposite of halving your age and adding 7 is to remove 7 and then double what you've got. This is grade 8 algebra, come on.

x/2 + 7 = y
2(y - 7) = x

So for me, where y = 27, it comes to 40. (40 halved = 20, add 7 = 27, grok?)

That would make mine 34 currently.

When I was 22 I dated a 39-year-old.
Am currently seeing someone and the age gap is larger than that was.

I see. I thought that the original formula was to add half your age to your current age, then add 7.

Yes, that would exactly be it.

multiplying by .5 is the same thing as dividing by 2.
