So my Ex called....

Ok everyone...I need some help! During the summer I was seeing a guy that I really liked for about 3 months. Then, all of a sudden, he dissaperead. No phone call, no e-maill....nothing. Anyways.....he called this weekend, after over 2 months of no talking, and wants to get together for drinks. I don't know what to do! I still like him, but I don't want to get hurt again! :finger:

Any advice?

If you still have feelings for him - and you go see him you run the risk of him doing the exact same thing. An Apology would be nice - but I think that til you have safely moved on emotionally, you should be no where near him

bebu is right..hes probaly only phoning you cuz he wants ass, and if you see him again, you're probably going to end up getting hurt..

Nothing wrong with having drinks, especially if your single. But like Bev said, Once a jerk, always a jerk. Just becareful and watch your actions.

He has apologized...and I gotta say, it did sound sincere. I do want to go for drinks with him and catch-up, and I am thinking that I might just lay into him and tell him exactly what I think. I think you're kind of naieve.

He wants sex, so if you want just that, then certainly take his invitation for drinks. No matter how sincere the apology was, I would highly doubt he's 'changed'. If you don't want to get hurt again, then why are you still humoring him? It seems like he's not ready for something serious and you putting up with his sporadic dating isn't going to make him change any faster...

Hmm I cant remember if I said something to you already regarding this matter but if I didnt then, I would say that you should prob just let him go and move on. From what you told me I dont think what he did really could have a good enough excuse. I mean just disapearing like that and all.
