Well I have been dumped in my life. And I was obviously not cool about it. Although I did not act as if *nothing happened*, the fact that she gave me space was something I will never forget. Otherwise I might've "pulled the blade".
So get busy. Don't be very cold, but don't be too buddy-like, yet.

Sometimes they need you to tell them "Fuck off" because otherwise, if you phrase it in more polite terms, they are not going to get the idea.
Be polite and tell her that you need space, and don't want her to call you for a while... if that doesn't work, you might have to be an asshole about it... It's better for her in the long run, cause as long as you keep talking, she won't get over the relationship.

lol yah you just need to be firm that you need your space and that you are busy. If you give in or let her keep calling they are going to think they have a chance. I've been there. At the time I wasn't tough enough to just say fuck off for a bit ok. And then he just kept calling and showing up at my house. When I started seeing someone else, yah he freeked saying he thought we were getting back together. AFTER 5 MONTHS! anyway yah he went crazy styles!
