Karma thread: lets spread our kindness!

karma is great, but the action on attempting to gain karma makes the action selfish and therefore would not be worth of the gift of karma. the true mesure of a man is what he would do if he knew no one would find out.

Karma is the stair was to heaven. every selfless act materializes the next step ahead of you. (for those of us that dont believe in heaven, supplement for prefured blissfull afterlife of your choice.
every action has a karma to it, so anytime you make any choice or action, if it is not going to bring you good karma, then its bringing bad. evil is simply the absence of good.

those who honestly believe in karma seldom use the word even. for the desire for karma is contradicive. instend find a way to share karma with others and have none know you did. the greatest feeling is helping someione out in secret and being found out by accsedent. try it. you may just find that when you have a little pure good karma the world becomes a brighter place.

P.L.U.R people all deserve good karma. i cant think of a more exact example of honest good karma. pass it forward, i garentee someone you meet every day will have some need of it. :D

^ah do not take me seriously, i just joke. i very much agree with your theory on karma but i believe sometimes it simply does not work the way it should be. my last month, february has been full of bad karma brought onto me even though the whole month id be helping out those around and did my best lifting up the spirits of those i know, yet bad events last month screwed me galore. of course i thought well it's bad karma comming on to me, but what the hell did i do, i just do not understand.
i think the key word with karma is balance. those that enjoy bringing misery to others and have evil intentions spread their actions on the good people, people that do not deserve it. and it is thought that these good people, those positive, aiding people will get good since they deserve it right? good will come on to the good, and evil will come on to the evil. it does not seem to work that way all the time though. sometimes i just think it would be only natural if bad karma keeps hitting you, you must spread it around in order to balance things out, and only then you can get back to your good natural self.
you Dravengd seem to be a huge believer in karma so i would like to hear your response to this.

Why is believing naive philosophies that lost just about all their validity in 1992 the be-all decider for who gets karma?

Karma merely states that anything (energies, desires, efforts, etc.) you send out will come back upon you threefold.

Frankly, I outgrew PLUR about three years ago. I still appreciate laws of karma though. Jesus explained it better: Treat others how you'd like to be treated. Nothing to do with PLUR if you don't want to have anything to do with PLUR.

I have done something that is worth good Karma for.. someone left a digital camera at Old School.. I found it on the floor.. and instead of leaving it there. I grabbed it and when i got home i posted on Fatkats.net and ravevictoria.com about it and they have to describe it and they can claim it.. It was a fuiji 5.1 megapizal camera.. its value was like $400.

It turned out to be a college student from VIc that owned it.. He was willing to accept the fact that it was gone.. and just go buy a new one.. He just bought it that day... It had a 256 mb card in it too.. It was able to record video and audio... I wish it was mine.. it took black and white, Sepia, mosaic pics.

Then 2 days later..some people dropped $20 bucks on the ground and instead of letting them walk away and take it.. i told them about it..

With all this good Karma.. I sure hope something good will come out of it this year.. I tells ya.. it was a great way to start off the NEW YEAR... Needless to say.. the owner of the Camera was estatic that I was honest enough to report it found...
