Older, Same, Younger

K, Before anyone goes, off...
Yes I'm well aware age is just a number, yada yada yada.
This is just about what you prefer, as in mentality.

When looking about for some one that may interest you, what do you prefer in age/mentality... tho you may not go for it.

Younger?? Some one thats a couple years younger. That perphaps didn't grow up with the same childhood characters as you, or the same music, or trends?! Some that may not be as 'wise' as you? Perphaps keeps the life in your 'old' age?

Same Age??[Give or take a year] Some one that could relate to all the things above, and you can comepare some of your favorites. Be in the same state as mind and understanding. Someone that may be at the same pace as growing up/old with you.

Older?? Some one thats a couple years older. That perphaps didn't grow up with the same childhood characters as you, or the same music, or trends?! Some that may be as 'wiser' than you? Perphaps some one you can give some spice to in their lives?

I'm not necessarily saying it as age as a number, but as in Mentality. Because we all know, some people can be 27 and have the mentality of a 16 year old. Or vice versa.

well, im 18, and when i "date" i prefere guys a few years older then me(20-24) is a good age group.old enough that they are not completely immature, and still not too old for me.
but either way, dating or just friends, most of the ppl i assosiate are 20+:)

Depends. If I want to avoid drama or I am looking for experience in the sack, I date people that are around my age or older than me. If I am looking for someone that can keep up to me with activities I like to do or who have energy in the sack OR people who are generally not bitter I tend to go for younger than me.

i'll worry about her age later, i've done yonger, older, and same...... it is all about if their look and/or personallity catches me, there age cannot be absuredly young or old otherwise that would get weird, but as far as a couple years go on each side, who cares.

i think the girl has to be at least 19-24 to be on the same level as me, there are exceptions to every rule though.

i've found people who are younger than me or the same age or older than me attractive, but if i'm going to go into a relationship with someone, they're usually older.

this isn't just with me and guys, but also the friends that i hang out with. i don't do it purposefully, but it just happens. most of my friends are 21 years old, and i'm the youngest guy in our little 'group'. (i'm 19, turning 20 in august)

ive always been friends with older people...
being the youngest child in my whole family, and my upbringing might have something to do with it...i dont really think about it too much.... mostly i jus like smart and interesting people and most of the time they happen to be older then myself.....
Every relationship I've had has been with a person 4+ years older than myself...and when i look for someone as a partner or a friend i wouldnt usually go for someone my age because my mentality is usually different from those who are....

i too thought that age was just a number, but then i dated someone quite a bit older than me.
sometimes, age matters, we lived together for 2 years before we realized that, we had two diffrent priorities in life and that pulled us apart.
but then i went and dated someone 4 years older than him.
age wasn't a factor in that one.
so sometimes, i guess age is a factor.

Everyone I hangout with, or see is more then likely older then me.
Basically because everyone thinks I'm about 21 or 22, so they think they're hangin out with some one thier age. Let alone, majority of the ppl that are younger then me.. I can't handle thier mentality. I have few friends that are my age.
As for seeing someone.. Usually older then me.. but young @ heart. Just knows when to let go and when not to type thing.

older..I think younger guys/guys my age are idiots most of the time..I think there maturity level is the one I had in grade 10...So I just wouldn't relate to them in a lot of ways cuz I've been there 4 yrs ago...I'm not saying I want a 30 yr old I just think 2 or more yrs older is usually how it goes for me..

well, it all depends on the particular person themselves.. sometimes I date older guys, sometimes I date guys my age and sometimes I date younger guys. *shrug* but for some reason lately I've become a 'cougar in training'. :189: :haha:

Older. I've dated a couple people my age and those ones never lasted more then 2-3 weeks. On average I go for older guys. Ranging between 2-6 years older.

What I find funny is it seems all the older guys ive dated act alot more imature than the younger ones ive dated? Except for Fred lol. In a way I dont really care... as long as its leagal and with in a 5 +/- years of my own age.

useless fact: across almost all cutures there's a general prefence for guys to like yonger girls and vice versa. Its pretty consistant that the average age difference for married couple is about 3 years.
