Hey everyone! I just wanted to inform those of you who might be interested in a program like this, to sign up and give it a shot! Katimavik gives participants ages 17-21 an opportunity to live in three regions of Canada. Participants will live in two English speaking and one French speaking provinces, while living with 11 people and spending 14 days in each area with a home stay family to discover more about their culture. Personal development through community involvement, joining forces with Habitat for Humanity...and working with the environment are only some of the things to look forward too.
I was reciently chosen for their replacement list which means there is a 90% chance that I'll be participating.I was wondering if anyone on here has ever taken part in the Katimavik program, or knows someone who has.
