YES!! here's the story.. my mom and dad are divorced... i live with my mom.. he's supposed to pay child support.. etc.. all that crap.. he stopped paying like 2 years ago.. my mom is disabled and can't work, becuz of him... and i was like 16.. so underage.. he has another kid with this women (the kid's like.. 4 or something.. i only found out i had a half sister like when she was a month old... and my cousin told my bro... NOT MY DAD!).. anyways.. so he can't really stop paying child support unless he goes thru the courts.. so he kinda owes my mom like almost $10,000 (they tried to get him to pay many times..) anyways.. so the court date was like Nov. something.. then it got post poned to Dec 22... he got them to postpone... so he can spend time with "his family"... ye.. where's my phone call? anyways...so he went to court in Toronto last week... and my mom's Toronto lawyer was there.. and there was a BUNCH of papers.. proving to my dad that im technically disabled and unable to work for long periods of time.. and me, my mom and brother all have post traumatic stress disorder... so the judge (a women).. said she wanted to personally read EVERYTHING.. so she was gonna come back to court after the weekend with her verdict.. she read it all.. and yesterday it was settled... WE WON!!! finally.. it's kinda like a bitter sweet win for me.. since my dad is a stubborn prick.. who NOT ONCE.. has tried to call me.. or call my brother back.. not even let us kno we had a sister... i think it's been like 5 or 6 yrs since i've seen or spoken to him... bahh!!! he told the judge he only owed my mom $6,000... so the judge said.. u have til like Feb 8 or 15 til u prove that..until then u have to pay ALL the $6,000 ... and u have to continue paying child support (she didn't say until wat age)... becuz of the fact that im "disabled" bahh.. so me, my mom and my bro are going to PORTUGAL in June for 2 weeks.. I CAN'T WAIT!!! and i can finally get my teeth fixed.. go braces! yay! im so happy.

that's aweosme everything turned out. I know it sucks when a parent doesnt pay child support. My dad hasn't paid EVER for me and my sister. the government has tried to track him down and what not but it's been unsucessful. the bastard owed ALOT of money.

ugghh yea, it's unfortunate the way this whole child support thing is goin. Leaving everything up to one parent to pay for is harsh. It's hard enough for a single parent to support one child let alone 2! Glad you got something out of your case though, that's awesome!!

good.fucking dead beat has to pay!
Did you know that when men do not pay child support thier credit is fucked automaically for 6 years and not even starting to pay child support will undo that. My nieces dad is a fucking deadbeat,and my kids dad is a fucking deadbeat. fucking deadbeats.

ye his credit is already bad.. and he has a criminal record... for many things
so it's not really a big deal for him.. hahaha they almost seized his house.. and they he sent some court papers to my mom.. complaining about the child support.. saying i was working.. and all that.. well i started working cuz he stopped paying.. and then i fucked up my back even more becuz of the job.. blah! idiot!!!!

I have no respect for someone that wont own up to thier responsibilities. These are living human beings that deserve to be cared for. ugh. If you dont wanna handle the responsibility, keep your car engine turned off or your garage door shut! Took my dad to have me find him[yay 411!!], and yell my fucking heart out at him for him to come around. and help out. and to fucking be a dad to me. I thank gawd for my stepdad tho... best man person alive!

u need to seriously bagger the government and the child support office to pay that shit.. with all the abuse my dad put my mom thru.. he made her mentally disabled.. which caused her to technically be midway physically disabled.. he was supposed to goto jail for battery during their marriage.. but my mom told the judge.. he needed to stay out becuz he ahd to work to support the family.. becuz at the time my mom was taking a double major in university.. then when divorce came along.. he was MADE to pay.. seriously.. we moved out of 2 provinces becuz of him.. we HAD to leave Ontario.. becuz the police told us we had to..... like seriously.. and now, he adopted the other kid.. like wtf... adopting a kid who isnt urs and ur not even supporting ur ACTUAL kids.. fuckwad. gawd.
