On Saturday June 16, 2007 at the O Ultra Lounge in Hamilton, Backbreakers proudly presents the man who headlined our first event 8 Years ago in June of 1999. Vancouver’s underground breakbeat legend Slim aka Andrew Spence will be performing an exclusive “Saxxin’ Scratchin’ Body Snatchin’” set in promotion of his new DVD live mix and to celebrate the bonds of Music, Friendship, and Culture. This night will also be dedicated to the Gemini as we host 8 Birthdays Spence’s and my own being among them.

We figured the only proper thing we could do for an event this special was to present to you 8 djs who are not only a selection of Ontario’s finest breaks and house talent, but they are our friends, residents, and honorary members of the Backbreakers Crew.

Music is the tie that binds us all and we have never let anyone down in that regard, it has been our privelege to share it with you in the past, the present, and like a bad itch, I’m sure we will Break your Backs with more beats in the future.
