011 - "ZÉRO-UN-UN" -or- "zero-one-one" Electric Pop & Visual Band from Montreal!!
Binary trio associating electronic arpeggios, pop melodies, and animated video projections with the goal to bring the audience to challenge the esthetically acceptable limits of dancing. Officially formed less than a year ago but imagined for at least 15 years, 011 won the 2006 Electro MIMI Award (Montreal International Music Initiative) at their very first concert. They have since played along with other Montreal artists such as Telefauna, Automelodi (Echo Kitty), Pornorobo, Plaza Musique and Les Georges Leningrad. More recently, they have performed live on Christiane Charette's radio show on Radio-Canada and appeared on Canal Vox's Baromètre TV show. They are in the West Coast with shows in Vancouver, Kelowna, and at the Solaris music Festival in Grand Forks, BC.
