but the plaza does bring out some talent, but than again you can all see the dj's as club's for a about a third of the price for a good dj i.e 15-20 bucks for a talented dj.

Ya I do you find you meet more people and get to know people a little better, but the last few small raves i've been to have either gotten busted or the venue sucked or it was organized unprofessionally. Plus I wanna meet dumonde.

When i go home i listen to electronica RELIGIOUSLY okay i dont go hoem n listen to pop n rnb for the next coming weeks till the next RAVE ! Iam aware of djs and differnt kinds of electronica.I could write a book if you wanted me to :DWhen i go to raves i know what djs are playing i know what they spin n i know what times.
why i go to raves is to dance and see djs that intrest me. NOT TO GET HIGH N TRIP OUT,i acually like popping out of parties better becuase i dont like doing speed in my caps n i cant dance if im mellow :)

unlike MOST of the " teenie boppers " i am Highly educated about the drugs i and every one else do at partys. i am responsible when i drop and i have a limit and only take halfs,hence being aware that a low tolerance is better hence being educated.

I go to partys;one so i can " party " but also because i have an unconditional love for music and dance and artists.I know for a fact as i grow my love for electronica will to and i will continue to go to raves n eventually club nights so i can follow n support my fav. djs.also id like to become a dj n learn turntableism.One thing as i grow older that i wont follow are drugs because thats not what the scene is originaly about is it now ?I can garentee two years from now half of those teenie bopers wont be sticking with it because one day theyll say " these drugs are realy getting to me" and quit drugs and along with that they will quit raving because its like a second nature to pop at raves becuase thats the only time they pop,i on the other hand have respect for the scene and see that it is WAY more than some place to " get fucked & party ".

Wow this thread has gotten a little emotional. I think everyone is different and everyone should do what makes them happy. For all those people out there that love to be the critic....I'm sure if I took the time out of my busy day to find something to harrass you about you wouldn't like it so much All this is is another form of bullying and to be honest I for one m tired of it. just a few points i wanna make. First off whats wrong with listening to pop and r'n'b?? Secondly why do you really care so much about how ur percieved on this board? Thirdly being educated on drugs has nothing to do with just knowing your tolerance. Being educated on drugs to me is more or less knowing how to control your mind. Being able to not get sketchy, being able to sleep, because you know your body needs it. Thats being educated on drugs in my opinion.

Besides its not hard to be smart about drugs. Most of it comes with common sense. You do the drugs don't think much about, eat because your body needs it, sleep because your body needs it, and you can sleep if you really think about it.

The thing peopel worry about most about E is to be a fuckhead on it.

Im saying like im there for the music kinda thing you know like i acually know whats going on & shit.Alot of teens who go there only know there just getting fucked up tonite kinda thing.Haha i listen to some RnB too so theres nothing wrong with it.Well who doesnt care? i care to a point id like ppl to know im not just another slut face wanting to get high n have guys hit on me all nite.Yes itsnot just about knowing your tolerance but i used that as an example of knowing whats up,i didnt feel like going off ne more than i should ;).Control is very important but to be in control you need to be confident more or less and know what your doing. And wat 14 yr old has common sence when they feel like shit in the morning and sick from mixing three differnt caps they got from guys hitting on them n they dont eat cuz they feel sick n they dont sleep cuz there so wigged out.see wat i meeaan :)

^ thank you for your feedback. You covered my questions quite nicely. Too bad kids these days don't go sober to their early parties. When i first started alot of the younger kids, and trust me their were alot of 14/15 year olds. The difference was alot of them chose and like to go sober.

Now its become like mandatory thing for 14 year olds to do E at a rave. What happened to this world haah

Man, have you seen them clean up in the morning? It's nuts...i once stuck around to watch them...i think it was after Kiss. This guy got on a little car thing with sweepers on the side and went around the main room of plaza. He had it all swept up in like five minutes, it was crazy.

i think the shutting down of plaza will effect the scene for good and bad...we wont be seeing as many big name djs....but local talent is just as good imo. we will have smaller more intimate parties and the people that party alot will see more familiar faces....i will miss the plaza alot...have had many fun fun parties there...nothing will add up to that place!

Yeah, for my first year of raving I never did drugs. Not that I feel like that makes me better than anyone. I just think it's better to go to raves and figure out why you like them before you do crack.

Now of course I have to be drunk. Other wise the 14/15 year olds asking me if their eyes are super big really start to annoy the hell out of me. That and seeing the little kids that were in grade 8 when I graded from my highschool.
