Crowd Control
Awesome time! So many people made it out it was Gold. Everything was fucking sic until they had to shut it down early. Benny Page and Shy Fx was ripping it up majorly! (Thanks Guys!) I didn't go into the breaks room, but I did hear the remix to around the world. That made me laugh. All In all Good times except for the cop drama at the end.

i had an amazing time. the 15 minutes i was actually inside for shy fx's set was great. sad that i was one of the few paying customers that got shut out at 1 am waiting an hour for my stuff... i think next time they give away all these free tickets they should go to us that had to freeze our balls off while the dj we came to see was inside ripping it up. great to see everyone.. im glad i got the vinyl signed before hand:) other than the standing outside.. the night was perfect:)

dang... i barely saw anyone was too packed in the one room. The breaks room was pretty sweet though. Easier to get liquor and alot of good people there. Nice to see Ryan spin again. I had alot of fun glad i went. Was in a really good mood for the most part too, and home and no trouble tonight. Thanks Kat!! |

well while I was there I had a good time. Good seeing all the ppl I havn't seen for ever!. Good music and a good vibe. I dont like being stared and talked about but fucking people though. I mean really be discreet or be up front with it.
Anywho, Glad I left before it got shut down. Pat hoped the first night of your birthday weekend was good. |

heh, I pretty much ignored Benny Page and Shy FX . . . not really my cup of tea in the first place, so I focused on dancing ridiculously, being glued to my man, doing shots with various birthday people and saying hi to my friends.
Big shouts to: pat, adrienne, erik, kat, sandra, michelle, ryan, kenji, nikita, sue, matty, nabs, beth, nat, adrienne, carlos (i saw you for 2 seconds what the hell were you doing?!) kenji, mike, pete, alla, travis, jay, toby, STEVE, sarah, nicole, kam, john, blake, carolyn.... everybody :) And an extra big hug for people who don't have the decency to look you in the eye and say hi yet still can't mind their own business. :) Last edited by prozac; Nov 25, 06 at 10:41 AM. |

Good music, shitty venue and not that great of sound. Benny Page and Shy Fx had me dancing up a storm all night. Great to see so many people made it out, though for $25 at the door, I was not impressed with the cops, nor the fact that they didn't use the basement instead of upstairs to avoid the sound complaints.

I had an absolute blast last night. The DJ's were great and so was the Company. Great seeing a lot of faces I hadn't done so in forever.
Anyways, back to the T.O. tonight... thanks to everyone for making my visit an awesome one. Pics will be posted when I get back and download them off my Camera. |

For the tiny bit I was there, looked to be heading towards a good night.
Glad I was able to catch the last half of Infidels set :) Awesome set by Toby and Dabbler, I was definately lovin' the tunes! Sucks to hear about it getting shut down early. But sometimes there is nothing you can do about it, especially when the cops are involved. Though it sounds like everyone had a great time while it lasted. Thanks again Steve :) |

Excellent job by the ruffhouse and sasquath drummer crew. I always have a good time at your shows and this night was no different. Benny and Shy Fx were sick, except I didn't even notice Benny Page was on until he was almost finished.
The vibe in there was off da hook!!! Looking forward to the next show boys. |

welp. sounds like mixed opinions. i am sad i missed everyone that was out last night. specially nat n erik. who i hardly see. :(
(i think a girl's night is in order soon, i miss you all. it's in the works ladies!!) a lil jealous of those who made it out to this. but i needed a night at home. i totally crashed. fell asleep at ten and didn't get up till 930 this morning. wow. good sleeep. glad you's had a good time.....for the most part. ;) ps. what;s all this shit about getting shut down early, and standing outside for hours and cop dramma?!?!?!!?!?!?!?! |

shy fx with skibba at richards last year was soooo much better. in everyway shape and form.
i was not a fan of the venue at all. really uncomfortable up on that littel riser stage fending off all the elbows from various flailers. downstairs would of been better suited. anyone know why it wasnt downstairs?? the music was mint. absoultly mint. shy's opening was huge and benny's set was the the highlight for me. i loved his studio mix that was feat. on dnb arena over the summer so im a fan. got to shake his hand and tell him...cool guy, slipped a couple mixes a few times but re-bounded like a pro....nice. ...if it wernt for a certain pretty lady dancing in front of me the night would of been a complete wash....:) reaaaly lookin forward to concord now. |
