I made a last minute decision to see Lawrence, and I'm glad I did. If there's a DJ who can actually get me to like trance, it'd definitely Lawrence. The thing I like about him is that he keeps the slow trancey shit between songs to a minimum. It was great to see him play to a nice sized crowd as well. He ripped it up at Godspeed this year, but there was nobody there to see it.

What totally made my night, though, was seeing an old chick friend I hadn't seen in like 7 years. Pretty much right after I got there and seen her, and thought that it was her, but I didnt' ask until the very end of the night. "Excuse, did you happen to live in Prince Rupert years ago?" "Holy Fuck, I thought that was you." She used to live only a few minutes away from my house, and she was a totally cool chick. The people she was with were totally in a hurry to leave, so all I had the chance to do was give her my card, so I hope she does get ahold of me at some point.

Christopher Lawrence played well for the short time I was there. Loved the more electro-flavored stuff he started off with. It's stuff you can groove to without going all out 'ravish', lol. Went to grab some dinner in Yaletown afterwards and then went on to DJ Disciple which also had a decent sized crowd and great house/electro. Overall a good night.
