*yawn* okay..here's my review. hehee I didn't sleep like 2 days in a row heading into this party. I was literally in a state of insomnia. But it was ALL worth it at the end. On behalf of Shy Brothers & Uh-Oh! Productions, I wanna thank all the party-goers that came out to support our night. Much mad luv and respect goes to all of u. Gosh! was it busy yesterday night. We were at capacity thats for sure. hehe.. It was pretty crazy. Sheesh.. i think this show was one of the hardest my uh-oh! crew promoted so far beside (what the funk) <-- memories. I hope you peeps had a good time at the show. Sorry about the strict security. It was out of our control. But yah... i guess they wanted to make sure everybody was safe. Anyhow, it was pretty hectic around 1130ish as the washroom was started to flood again and our lineup outside was getting pretty long. We were literally shieting our pants b/c we didn't want no deja-vu. Thank goodness for the emergency portal potties that we had planned, and we had the plumbers ready on site. ;) *whew* But yah.. the problem was solved before anything serious evolved from it. Talk about stress eh? Darn. i think i even missed the F&K meet at the railing at 3pm :( or was there one? Anyhow, I'm kinda still very wooozy right now but here's my shoutout in no particular order that are on f&k.
adam: i was only able to catch part of you & kraig's set but i'll try to catch more of ur set in the may show, aight? by the way, did you drink a lot outside?!? lol. darn. wanted to join u yesterday but i had to remain sober. But yah, we gotta go out for some sushi again soon! kraig: i heard many positive things from the party goers about ur set w/adam and the room was packed to the max. Sheesh.. get any sweaty hugs? keke bev: see! i told you i'll get it ;) hehee.. although, i almost forgot until you text messaged me hehe... nice seeing you at the show & thx for reminding me. hehe marty mc: hmm..i wonder if u'll read this, if not. i guess i'll msg you l8r on your icq. Sorry that i couldn't catch much of your set & the cake was like uhhh.. deformed *lol* but i hope you had a fun time. precise: yo ryan! caught bits of ur set and it was phat. hope u had a blast at the show and sorry about the cake haha.. it was looking more like a pancake eh? *lol* soooOoo.. i heard u had a lot of vodka eh? hehee Kevin: hey lex, it was a pleasant surprise to see you put down a few tracks down with ryan. can't wait to hear a full set of u/alex at fusion dreamz ;) michelle: chichi! what?! you're the one that blew the left speaker? *lol* talk about phat bass hahaa luv dancing to ur beats in the morning although i was soo poofed out. mattymids: sorry, i didn't get the chance to hear ur set nor meet u :( *sniff sniff* de ken: nice morning set. too bad we had to cut it short :( until next time ;) richard: sorry couldn't catch your set at all, but i heard some good comments about it. Too bad you had to leave so early :P sonny: heard some positive feedback about you ;) keep it up! darn..too bad i was too busy running around all night and i couldn't catch ur set. It was a pleasure working with you/mike and i'm looking foward to working with you again in fusion dreams ;) It's gonna be rocking! jimboski: the one and only *little* jimboski hehe...sheesh... you rocked the dance floor HARD man!!!! u see all those hands flailing to you like hail jimboski haha.. it was a tight set bro and i was seriously impress. You know how to represent uh-oh! on the decks. ;) well, our hardwork paid off this time eh? get ready for round 2 for fusion dreamz!!! well, there's my lil shoutouts for now. I'm still kinda like really woozy right now. Yeah...but i haven't been to a party there in over two years...mebbe even 3...I kind of did that suspension of disbelief thing that you do when U go to a movie...but what i found was simply to unbelievable...
Besides, U did note that I said "re-resolved", right? |

 ohz another highlight of my night was when the first aid gave me a lecture about not to mix advil with the "drugs i took"... damn ppl assumes everyone to be drugged up. i had a bloody pounding headache...it killed. ackz |

I thought insomnia way a pretty good party , however I do agree that the security was way to tight, and the amount of ppl there at times was kinda crazy...all in all a good night!

I had a wicked time at Insomnia...I'm still recovering. Met lots of cool boys and got to watch my boy go off like mad! He's got crazy skillz.
Don't know if any of you post on here, but hi and a big hug to the two boys in red niel and G, adrian, trevor, and of course my bro fa'tony!! :D And it was super rad seeing Peter! Didn't expect you to be there!! I think that was the best music I've heard in a long long time, Vinylgroover kicked some serious ass. And I would have spent more time in the room upstairs had I known it was there!!! Someone took me there half way thru the night! :284: |

Well, it was a good party. I had an awesome night. Kraig and Adams set was my favorite all night. Precise and ChiChi were dope too! Had a good time, good breaks. Nice seeing everyone again, too many to list. You know who you are! Props to the crew! Good show!

Adam I were chatting about the party on Sunday afternoon and agreed that our set @ Insomnia was the best we have ever played together at any party. I think is has entirely to do with the energy in that room! It was packed with everyone going off and dancing so hard that it would come close to even skipping the needles! We look forward to doing it again soon! |

someone said shy brothers were professionals and they did all the concessions, hook ups, etc etc? kuz i swear... if there was one thing i had to complain about, it was the concessions guy. he told a lot of people "last bottle of water, $4, $5" that's not professional... that's just smart HAHAHAHA PLUS I THINK RAVERSIDE'S SEWAGE PROBLEM IS JUST BUNK...iono about people using the bathrooms.... unless people are deliberately throwing stuff down there to ruin a party. anyhow. vinylgroover, mario, sb's nice main room sets. so much nice trance / hardhouse i haven't heard ! jimboski. haha nice green court and I wanna Show You! adam n kraig heard some nice vinyl! deken.. shizzy ur set had to get cut short. kuz it was startin to get pumpin . another time man! will try to make it! |

What can I say, my first visit to Riverside left a pretty good impression! Sorry to everyone I didn't get a chance to say hi to, I was just so exhausted. (I had been camping for three days right before the show... I was literally an insomniac in my cold, leaky, and uncomfortable tent) So leaving early kinda sucked, but it was still great to see everyone having so much fun.
Props go to Stan and Shy Brothers for making it happen. Just killer. Kraig: GO BANANA! More shouts to be added later, need sleep... STILL tired.. :sick: |

Hey wussup,
I thought Insomnia was awesome .. the musik and everything .. just downstairs was all crowded and wet . And the security was really really strict on everything. ANyway i dont really know anyone from here .. but i met Neal, Frank and couple others, all really really dope and nice ppl... If ya'll dont know me maybe u'd remeber the asian guy upstairs in the white kangol hat liquid/popping/waving and just straight up dancing. My friends and i got those little dance circles started upstairs and it was all good and fun ... Just wanted to say hi to all those i met if ya'll post here ... peace -Trevor |

Hey all, I am very sorry for me getting on this post so late, but i needed some sleep before i could get back on the cump :toasted: ,
First, I wanted to thank all the party kids in Vancity to make the show so great for us . A big thanx goes out to the djs that came out and the staff. SICK ass music in the main room! Vinylgroover rocked my world. the stupid ass security where taking peopls pils and taking them thereselves.... Stupid stupi stupi security one of m,y buddys got busted and has a court date... I had to bail my goods as I was getting searched! FUCK riverside and aint ever going there again.. TOO HEATY but thumbs up to Uh ho productions and SHY brothers you ROCK and I'll see you at fusion dreams

i dont know much about raves since this was my first but i thought the music and vibes were awsome. had a great time there. except fer an encounter with a 40 year old vietnamese man.. that was creepy!
