Maybe you should check their website in a few days or contact their AGENT yourself. Plus NEVER has Solid Corp put an out of town (headliner) Dj on the flyer that hasn't showed up. While other productions had before. So please get your facts straight before you go spreading any rumours to the general public.

Stan... I have got to put my foot down here as clearly you are pointing towards Twisted Productions here and namely the incident that happened at Spooky this past year with Olav Basoski. As we found out literally the day of the show from his agent, Olav had food poisioning and was unable to get on the plane. If it suits you, I would be more than happy to obtain a formal letter from Olav himself as we chat on MSN often. Even more so as Dave Armstrong is a personal friend and producing partner with Olav, I would be more than happy to ask Dave to post here on FnK if you or anyone else needs further information to back this up.

Finally, can I request that you be a bit more professional and stop bringing up or making note to "other production companies" in your posts and deal with the issue that is presented to YOU and SOLID about Soul of Man.

just a thought... sometimes djs can back out of a contract or they get changed around. it's not a new thing so you shouldn't be surprised? but i guess i understand if u're going to buy tickets.

^^ I do appreciate what you are saying 4:20 but the reality is, Exert doesn't really throw parties any more nor do they post on this board.

Given that Twisted is one of the few large Production companies throwing shows, and as recent as Spooky had an incident of this nature happen, it is only appropriate that I comment. -- Based on that, I am sure you can understand where I am coming from!

Now... back to the original purpose of this thread.. the show.

Well, Chill out Kraig. We're not pointing fingers @ Twisted as we have stated "other productions" - if you think Twisted, so be it. Please don't get us started when you were posting on the twisted official post on gf and indirectly pointing fingers. Lastly how is it "clearly you are pointing towards Twisted Productions here"? Good news is IMF2004 this year is fully supported by the BEAT 94.5fm - expect crazzzy ticket giveaways starting mid june on their station and there will be live coverage on the Beat on the day of the event.

Hey... this is a thread for IMF, not a thread about Solid vs. Twisted. Honestly, based on one small sentence, I would not have even considered that Happy-Q-Boy was making an attack directed at Twisted until you actually brought up the idea yourself. I don't think anyone would have thought of it, until you brought it up yourself... you are jumping to conclusions that he is attacking Twisted when it doesn't appear evident at all.

I doubt that the Olav incident you are referring to is fresh in anybody's minds anyway, because it happened so long ago, but now that you're bringing it up, you're needlessly refreshing it in all of our minds. However, I do understand where you're coming from, and that you feel you want to defend the name of Twisted, but I think in this case, you don't really have to. Besides, Twisted's record speaks for itself! Bringing Armin two years in a row is good enough for me!

Maybe Happy-Q-Boy could have worded it better, but I think he is just trying to stomp out any fears that Solid would falsely advertise the DJs they are presenting. Also, why make a PUBLIC "request" for Stan to be more professional? By making such a remark, you are implying that he is UNprofessional and all us FnK people should acknowledge it and agree with you... again this is unnecessary. Let the Fnk viewers form their own opinions.

Anyways... I think people should just be smiling that there are two companies like Solid and Twisted that are working so hard. It's just better for everyone in general, because Vancouver party-goers are being treated to so many great DJs all the time! Two is better than one! In the words of Adam Smith (Economics), healthy competition benefits all! I'm loving it actually, and so should everyone else!

Back to the thread... everyone go download the JooF set that MCHammered posted up in the 'Simply Music' forum... it is sick! I'm eagerly anticipating a similar type of performance for the PNE dungeon!

i called Replay earlier and they had no tickets but that was like around noon... do they have them yet or when are they getting them?
