Atlantis 77 - You were upset because he was rude to you right? Fuckign grow up and realize that he had a lot of other things going on between headphones getting lost, power outages, over population, about 2 dozen other people asking him to let them in infront of everyone else, prices for the doors, paying dj's, playing himself, guestlist mistakes, and a bunch of other shit to top that all off. Im sure whatever he did to piss you off he didn't do intentionally, but more becuase he didn't need some fucking guy who has never been denied entry into a party before complain to him and stupid shit.

Thats all. But unfortunately some of the fellow supporters didnt agree with this and decided to put their own twist to the story and deicded to judge me. But i do understand YOUR point. But if any of the rest of you kids wanna prove your point go a head. But i ll still stand by my opinion. So if you wanna talk about somethin i said, read my previous posts and then run your mouth about whatever it is you wanna babble about. Its good that your supporting your friends but its another thing being stupid and ignorent about yoru opinions. |

Also if he didn't help you like he said didn't perhaps you assuming him trying to convince the security guard had nothing to do with it...perhaps if he just turned around and never worried about a thing at all you would've been in the cold and wouldn't have gotten to the party at all because I personally do know friends who didn't get into the party and they paid $60 bucks on the day of to get in but didn't really care because they actually understood that it was capacity limit.

Atlantis 77 - Thanks for understanding man. Kamal did not mean to be rude, but the plain and simple fact is he had a reason to be rude. Damm, I would be rude to if someone came up and complained about capacity issues when im busy as hell and stressed about the on-going paty. This could have all been resolved if nothing was posted about the producer in the first place.

Atlantis and all other people... Some of you bring up some valid points that the promoters of the party should read about. Rather than bantering and bitching across what is now like nine pages of posts, I would highly suggest emailing or PM'ing Kamal and Harp who are the Unconscious Bros. with your concerns and suggestions.
Speaking from experience though, when you write your emails/messages, keep in mind that most of the time, at these types of events, there is LOTS of stuff going on behind the scenes that you can't see or are aware of. Cheers. |

As an aside from all of this 'drama' and the attitude that this DLO604 fellow feels he is entitled to give me (that of which, in the long run, his disrespect will prevent me from even thinking of attending any of the events he may possibly hold...), after finishing my final term paper, I'd like to present my personal review of Shifted:
The music was incredible, amazing talent in the small room, but a vile, vile stench (which is a given at any rave). Fixx and Wax were wicked and made me understand why I am always drawn back to such events. It was absolutely wonderful watching all the drugged up little girls and boys running around in their underwear. Needless to say, I was relieved and grateful to see some familiar faces (ex. Adrienne, Bev, Mateo, Shaun, etc.). I missed you Miska. I was at a rave and you weren't (such a rarity on both parts) and I cried. Thank you Mike dear for your help! I think I am getting too old to stay up that late at night. I'm still paying for it. Thank you for bringing some good talent into Van city. ( Precise spinning would have made it better though...;) ) Don't tell the bf I had a reasonably good time though...he might use it against me in the future. *Jen* |

Hats down to the Unconcious Brothers. A show well done! The venue was great, bet the A/C was well received by all.
Harp/Kamal - Good job mang, it was fun to see the whole family working STAFF @ Shifted. "Thas what family's for foo" - Harp Yuriy - It was great setting up, anytime you need help setting up, let us know. Theo - Thx for playing around with the laser, too bad the mirrors didn't come in handy, but when we set them up they sure looked great. Gary - Mr Mirror man, nicely done, duct tape and card board can go a long way eh. Watch out for the next event by these guys, it's going to be bigger and better than ever.
