Atlantis, so you were spoken to rudely. You say that you thanked Kamal a few times for letting you in. Maybe the fact that you kept pressing the subject and expressing your thanks was getting on his nerves. He went out of his way to help you and your friends out and yes, I'm sure he appreciated the thank you's. But personally, If I were in a high stress position like he was at the time, I would have more important things to do than continue a convo with some kid who interrupted whatever task I was doing to let get him inside the party. You know what I find ridiculous? The assumptions that people tend to make on FnK and the inability of most people to truly and realistically articulate what's on their mind.

I understand why Atlantis is/was bothered by the situation in discussion, not based on the events of the night (ie. not the fact that the venue was at capacity), but rather the attitude he was given from the promoter. Atlantis is a well respected guy by all who know him, and when given shit from the promoter for 'giving him a hard time' when simply stating his opinion, it doesn't bode well with him. It is true that the rave scene lacks the words 'PR' in its vocabulary, but as 'production companies', I think that there should be some people skills attached to their business. Giving your paying patrons lectures (short ones, mind you) about them telling you how they feel about your productions is hardly the best way to handle the situation. I understand that Kamal was under a lot of stress, but simply saying 'Thanks for the input Buddy', and walking away may have been a better idea. One less dissatisfied customer.

In any case, just to clear things up, the promoter didn't come out and 'let us in', the security supervisor came out and we talked to him about capacity and he told the door at the guy to let us in. The door guy didn't even want to let Vista in. I don't know where you all got the idea that he walked out and escorted us in.

Oh, and by the way Lil' Tiff, I hardly think its appropriate for you to be calling Atlantis a 'lil fuck' when in fact he is so much older than you and about 3 times the size of you.

Oh how I love stories change. So according to Atlantis77 Kamal escorted him in...and now your saying he security supervisor. Last time I was helping out I saw that the Security supervisor was white not brown. Unless he disguised himself to be Kamal than he did a pretty good darn job of it.
