Awsome party!
The sound, stage setups were perfect....well except for the bouncey main stage that made the needles skip when people danced on it:(. Never the less I had such a blast playing along with MR. Sinister. Big props to Kamal for shortening his set so everyone still kept there full timeslot since the party opened the doors later :y:. Wish I coulda stayed a bit longer though.....looks like it was a fun party all night. Good job to all those that were involved with putting this party together! |

Promoters take risks when throwing parties, and partiers take risks when attending them. When you show up late like that, you are taking the chance of getting turned away. It's the same thing at club events also. This isn't fucking rocket science!! Atlantis, so you were spoken to rudely. You say that you thanked Kamal a few times for letting you in. Maybe the fact that you kept pressing the subject and expressing your thanks was getting on his nerves. He went out of his way to help you and your friends out and yes, I'm sure he appreciated the thank you's. But personally, If I were in a high stress position like he was at the time, I would have more important things to do than continue a convo with some kid who interrupted whatever task I was doing to let get him inside the party. Say thank you, and move on. Done and done. Kids are so bitchy these days.. wow Harp and Kamal, it sounds like the party was a success.. good job guys! I wish I could have been there. Next time =) |

 Mad props to Kamal and Harp on a job well done. -- In my opinion two of the best promoters in the city. And to FunFun Productions - excellent job in the main room babes! The level of detail on those things were really, really good. Next time, don't forget the Breaks room though! -- Adam and I were laughing as the decorations on the wall were the left over cut outs from the main stage decorations! It's all good though.I had a great time jammin with Lex, Kev, Cinto and Adam... Overall I think we played a great set that had something for everyone - Funky Breaks, House, and some Speed Garage. I jsut wish we would have had longer cause with four of us playing records, you would put two tracks down, and then could walk around for 20 minutes before you had to play the next two! It was good seeing all that I did... APEX is next up! Cheers. |

I had an awesome time! Honestly haven't had that much fun in a looooong time, haven't been to a party in a while so I'm happy I made it out for Shifted :)
The air conditioning was heavenly, made being inside not too hot and not too cold - just perfect. Hopefully this venue can be utilized again. |

Margie - we are so mean..... Heather - you loved how ppl thought it was you pinching their bums! ;) Tina - good times laughing at how that girl danced Gia - lol i think we are even for skirting eachother Lauren - soo funny that was the first person you named! fat and ugly! Brad - im so glad you showed up, i missed you! Barstar - you definatly made my night, loved watching you rip it up! Anyways good job to Harp and Kamal you guys rock! ps. Atlantis77 - i think you were bitching to me outside about the promoter, serisouly get over it at least you got in! and think about why he was stressed cause little fucks like you dont shut up about stupid things..... |
