you can sell a bunch of tickets in advance, but then people show up and pay at the door. What are you gonna tell those people. Hey thats part of it, i can persoanly deale with it. Its kinda fun findin the place and havvin the excitement. What i dont agree with is when a promoter gets a venue, and just sells ticket for wahetver reason it is.

Err uhh... So you're upset that the a promoter didn't remember who you are? Excuse me, Atlantis.. but you're not the only fuckin partier in the room. Like Myles pointed it out, the shower was busy the whole evening. How can you expect a promoter to be 100% socially proficient at his own show when he practically invited EVERYONE? Dude, my point, he helped you pass a good 15 minutes to 45 minutes in line, and you don't even remember HIS name. but you're ok with going around online shit talking him for obviously confusing you with someone else. YOU'RE WEAK. re-think things before you let them go ruin your night.

In regards to tickets and advance sales, i dunno if you guys know this, but the rave scene is all about bending rules. OF COURSE we want to let in as many people as possible (even if we sell out to the capacity of the fire marshall). I kept complaining the entire evening that the place could fill another couple hundred people! It's half a matter of party atmosphere (everyone loves packed shows) and half a matter of money making (because throwing a party involves risk. when you see yourself making money, with the potential to make more later, OF COURSE YOU GOTTA TRY TO MAKE MORE) don't call promoters crooks when they charge more for tickets or water. you guys are the ones willing to pay for it. Back in the day when i thought water was expensive, i used to split the cost with friends (1.50 for a water and refilling through the tap was fine by me).

The security and their attitude i didn't mind. they have to uphold SOME sorta authority, even if it's them being utter pricks. they're the law at the party. often, groups of partiers that arrive have the same number of people as the entire security staff. Imagine if two big groups broke out into a fight. without that asshole'ish presence, they may not have had a presence, and more shit could have happened. So, like i've said about the police & security before... SOMETIMES they're the good guys too. so shut your mouth, let them do their job, and just IGNORE THEM! damnit, you guys let all the trivial things ruin your nights
