ya, helped setup so i got a staff pass, drank a 26 in the party, got nice a drunk, didnt really feel like dancing much, lol...but i had a pretty good time, left early cuz i was soooo freakin tired.

Thanks alot Mykee , The music was fantastic and so were the people. I was very impessed with the DJ's that played , (you have alot of killer talent on this island).From the minute i walked through the door to the end i was shakin my ass with a vengence. heh, werk hey :014: not so much fun, i sorta got 2 hours of sleep in the car, and then streight to work. and it was sooo busy:( and i had to stay 30 min late to finnish everything off.

yes, the speed garage was good =) i was planning on leaving at like 5 (cuz of my having to werk in the morning) but the speed garage made me stay, and it was so worth it

Yea I wish I could have stayed for speed garage as well because after WAX and Carson the music was the suck :n: imo but then Ive never been a fan of trance or logik's style of "house" :387: But all and all Mykee deserves props for a party that went off right from the start of the nite :D Thanx d00d...it was good :)

Hearing your comments made it all worth while. It was pretty succesfull, lots of ppl there but still needed about another 75-100 I think.. Well, then atleast I would have broken even hehe :) Oh well, ya win some ya lose some.

! 1Love = 1Night = 1 HelluvaTime !

First off I must say that the setup was probably one of the best setups Ive seen at E-hall - one of the best experiences for going to a rave is to be able to completely trip out by just looking up, and that was definantly captured with the unique screens and the usage of the different type of lasers - they didnt just use one kind of laser - they different ones that you dont see very often and I think the effect was Killer =).
The party itself was definantly a great way to go all night - the people that turned up were amazing and friendly and all of them were kickass to party with - met an insane amount of people last night, was kickass.
The turnout of people was a little smaller then was hoped for - but definantly a decent amount of people showed up nonetheless. The good thing was eagles hall got full - but didnt go too full which was good. 7th Heaven 3 it was packed tight, but this time around there was just enough people to fillt he place but not enough to feel cramped - it was great.
Met a lot of first timers too on Friday night - turns out quite a few peps broke into the scene at that party (hmm I wonder if they know how much fun their in for).
I honestly loved the music - I must admit there were a few points where the crowd, I could tell, wasnt ready for the music that was about to be played - I noticed the music jumped a lot from different styles - even sometimes the tempo change drastically I noticed - but it might've just been me.
But the DJ's all put out a solid performance for the most part. WAX put on a wikid set - they've gone harder before but they openned this time around, they didnt quite have the dancefloor support for the openning set, even though the dancefloor definantly grew as soon as people entered the doors to the duo - they definantly threw it down nice :) and we broke it down just as nice =).
Now Carson blew up that dancefloor like it was mean't to be! The floor was going nicely after WAX with braedan (I believe), but sort've dispersed for a sort-of intermission - but was definantly brought back when Carson got behind the decks. He threw the best tracks down and did it wit stile =). So got goin twice as hard when he got on - definantly moosic that soothed the soul lol :D. mmmMmmm and talking about moosic soothing soul - the speakers were quite beautiful indeed - I had to stand and hold and hug the beautiful speakers and enjoyed its booming lust :D.
But yeah - back to Carson - definantly put out an insane set and got the crowd screamin and goin.
The crowd itself was definantly into it - everyone was there to have a kickass time and just hang out all night - well that and party hard and dance even harder. I noticed quite a few people were juss given er on the floor - and so they should've for the music was strong all night. I spent most if not a good 80% of my time on the dancefloor - I was glued there lol.
I must say the vibe was definantly the most 'tightest' vibe I've felt in a party in a long while - which was quite nice. Like I was saying before, there was just the right amount of people inside the right size of venue - and for that everyone was real cool with everyone else and, I dunno, sorta more 'open' in a way, definantly was a very tight knit vibe in the place.
Yet again Eagles Hall prevails in holding the insane grade A Island Vibe:D

Lol - Angel and her whip - lucky girl got to smack a lot of hot asses that night lol. Thats ok she got her share of beats throughout the night :P.
It was wikid cool seeing a lot of old faces there on Friday - met a wack load of new people but saw probably even more people that I havent seen in a long time. It was soooo nice to be able to party with you all again - you ALL have to come out to shout and we must repeat :D.
Sarah hunny - it was soooo great seeing you last night - partI hardI we sucessfully did that night :D.
Natalie, Beth, Jesse - you three gorgeous beauties - so much fun yet again dancing with you guys all night - we broke that dancefloor to shreds =).
Matt, Alex, Joe, Erik, Rose, Kristen, Ryan, Tyler, Rob, lol - holy fuck - Crystal, Sam, Jackie, Pete (*breathe*) [basically the crew :D] - wikid time - that was one of the main things about Friday night that I knew would happen - that was one of the reasons I was talking Matt into going (because we all wanted to go for WAX, but cause they openned and we were supposed to work till after their openning set we originally couldnt get there in time), so stoner Matt (sariel), thought he could get away with not going - but the cool thing with Friday night was it was just a wackload of friends all hangin out all night - which was real real cool. Nothing better then a vibe that tite with people your that cool with.
All in all - I had an insane amount of fun that night - as I knew I would - the Island vibe was definantly back yet again inside the E-hall. And as always that place threw it down hardcore and Island stile :D.
Not sure if Im gonna be able to make it to Rehab - hopefully - we'll see, I might help out a bit. But definantly was a lot of fun seeing you all on the weekend.
Thx Mykee for a wikid time - definantly had a wikid amount of fun :D. yeah - more people woulda helped definantly the payout - but I'd say enough people left with smiles on there faces - so hopefully that'll make up for it. Next time we'll rock it twice as hard:D.
Definantly will be seeing you ALL for SHOUT and hopefully my next House Party on May 7th you guys can make it out for too =).

anyone know what was up with the power turning off? i remember it happend a few times but the second time they fixed it quicker. next is Shout.

my guess, people were sitting on the edge of the stage(which they shouldnt have been doing) and from that, they kept hitting the power cords loose...thats why whenever someone would sit on the edge, the security would tell them to get off...

notice it never happened again once they kept telling ppl to not sit there

The first time it happened someone sat on the stage and unplugged the cord going to the turntable/mixer/etc. The other time was because the breaker blew. just had to turn it back on and turn the music down :)

well all is well that ends well - and definantly ended with a bang and a boom - I noticed they didnt want to turn the music off- I almost didnt want them to either lol, besides for the fact I was entirely broken lol.

and yeah Nat: I was talkin to one of the peps in chilliwack and they were sayin they were tryin to make it out for this one - which in that case, if there gonna come party it up Island Stile I think Im gonna have to come by and party it up with them - awesome crew, DravenGd, Sniper, and all em all (James, Spencer, Mat, Amanda) - we'll see - I dont think I can just easily say no to an island party lol - you know me and dancing all nite :P

"Progressive" is the word you're looking for and I've never been much of a fan of it.

There's some good stuff out there, but not much. Was cool hearing Tomaz vs. Filterheadz - Sunshine though.... But that and about 2 other songs were about it for that 2/3 hour progressive block we were made to endure.

Christoph (sic?) rocked the house. While the DJs on the most part were decent, this guy showed 'em all how it's done.
