When i got there, it was packed to the point the road almost turned into one way! But i got lucky and found a sweet parking spot before going down the hill. Now the lineup was killer, but luckly a few friends told us to line up here so we got in around 40 mins while others waited for hours~
Once I got in I was like, "WOW can't see shit!" But boy the location was too crazy! Wasn't too hot or too cold, everyone looked like they were having a good time, espically when Dean was playing. I had ups and downs but eventually i pulled through and had a kick ass time! Just...the drive is too far, not something I'd like to drive for while being all fucked up from the party. btw who thought that song from dean "suck my motherfucking dick" was a sweet track? Anyone have it? :P |

oh man i just woke up... Apex was awsome, the perfect throughtout the night, the vibe was and people were amazing. shouts out to Mike, Mary and alyssa you guys rocked! Jeff and Jackon and Mike damn, missed you guys the whole night. Big shouts to the new guys michelle and Amber. Tent rave! :)

apex is always goodtimes....i was my usual self....sound and setup for the swing-kids stage was awesome,. that stage was BUMPIN all night long.
the quote of the night goes to Akeel when some fucked up kid decided it would be cool to climb to the very top of one of the towers at the stage....me him and some other buddies run over, get the fucker down..and Akeel grabs him and says.."what the fuck man, get outa here..if i see you by this stage again, ILL RIP OUT YOUR HEART AND EAT IT!!!!" fuck was that ever funny thanx for all that came out |

I can feel the isolated soreness in each and every individual muscle involved in arm and body waves. 7 hours of frenzied waving, popping and liquid really takes its toll on the body....
I had a great time. Special mention goes to DJ DEAN, who I have been a fan of since high school like 5 years ago. I normally avoid trance whenever possible, but he rocked it, and I know it. Overall though, the smaller jungle stage with the camo netting stole the show for me. Hard ass jungle all night, with chilled roots reggae in the morning to greet the sun with! After all that bass, you know we really needed some chill music... Two negative observations (which I hate to mention because it was a great night): 1) The lineup was broken. I'll just leave it at that, and omit the copious flurry of swearing and insults that I feel like posting, because I know that the promoters put a lot of personal effort into this party. Please fix the lineup for next year. A 3 hour wait is unacceptable. I hope you can understand this. 2) Sausagefest. Thanks to everyone for coming out! This year's Apex was a great success, as usual! |

Bozga you played a tight set... send me your track list to everyone I saw... if I acted weird it could have been the MDA pill I did... I was tripping, paranoid and hallucinating thought everyone wanted to kill me. messed up. Highlight of my night was showing Dean my shirt and getting him to play Play it Hard and Protect Your Ears. all in all wicked party, better than last years |

so fucking good....i had an amazing time for the 1 year anniversary..haha
met up with the old and met alot of new, too....the only downside was that line-up...i remember pushing forward when i was in the back of the line and pushing backward when i was in the front of the line...craziest 2 or so hours in a wait to get into a party ever, and like some other people were saying....i didnt even get searched..they told me to just keep walking..and i did :P it was a rave HARD, e-tard night for sure :multi: next year = im there |

haha, props to everyone who put in all hard effort to make this event work, just looking at that lineup made me think how stressed hte event organizers would be ahahaha.
but as for the party itself man, amazing, i had so much fun and met so many people. my body is absolutely wrecked from dancing all night and covered in mosquito bites. and i wish i got pictures, the digi cam died so early in the night it sucked, but 1 clip of a light show got recorded lol; anyways thanks everyone for the great night :D http://members.shaw.ca/one4/PDR_0678.gif |
