Kickass party. DJ Dean rocked! "SUCK MY DICK! SUCK MY MOTHERFUCKIN' DICK!". Holy crap, that was awesome.
Major Josh, your set was killer as usual. I nearly lost it when you flashed us the Benassi record. :D Thanks a lot for the picture after your set, that hour at the Evolve stage isn't something I wanna forget. Only problems of the night were the lineup (which has already been beaten into the ground, so I won't bother) and a few technical difficulties early on during DJ Dean's set, although these seemed to be fixed quickly and professionally. Huge props to Evolve and Boodang. A couple of really excellent stages this year. |

Holy crap, when I got there at 11, there was some 2000 people waiting to get in. No order whatsoever. So what do you do after buying a 20$ ticket? BUSHWACK IT!!!
Over an hour walking around in the pitch black with nothing but 2 lighters, losing half my supplies including beer, gatorade, about 12 waters and some granola bars. But after getting scratched up and looking like shit, holy that was a show and a half!!! Remember Apex 5 years ago when the smallest stage last night was the biggest stage then. Congratulations to all involved, pretty cool meeting all those new people last night and one more thing I wanted to add is considering all the people there, I saw no beef going on which was great. Awesome job everyone, can't to see the next one... |

That was dope.
Unfortuantely for the Leftcoast stage .. i chose a horrible spot this year and we had an identical sound system to the year before but this time were located in mad traffic! Right in between Rhia`s & Twisteds stages. Twisted guys had a Riverside setup and Rhia was out to kill me from the start. LOL -- whoever said that comment about our stage sounding like shit all nite... I wouldnt go that far, sure we werent the loudest but the one speaker that sounded like it was blown was cuz one of our DJs had the gain cranked.. ppl that have a 600 pioneer know if u do that , its horrible and will distort. Fixed it up quickly tho. In all I still thought we held out ground, for the small area we had - it was rockin real hard from 11-8. A huge shoutout to all the ppl that were at the LCU stage all nite. HIP HOP does work at RAVES! Bigups to all the DJs that kept it moving. Special recognition to SPEEDY, YEPPA to gettin that shit started in style, Lucious Lisa for KILLIN it CInto & Superstar DJ TWISTA in the morning. And Lastly DJ IGnite.. shaddi`s 7am SPEED GARAGE was absolutely SICK. The troopers that were goin off know wut im talkin about. I cant believe I drank a 40 of tanguray. If anyone saw me .. i was a drunken mess. Fell into a tent twice, bailed hard 4-5 times. Rocked a prickle bush. That fuckin hurt. Couldnt figure out why i had thorns in my back when i woke up today. Somehow i got a puffy eye too . LOL In all it was a crazy crazy nite.. Apex jus keeps gettin better and better by the year. SO MANY PPL IN ATTENDANCE - cant wait till next year. PS. whoever those girls were that flashed their TITS during my set. - You guys ROCk. also where was SILVERWINGED and her Bombay!? - i lived up to my end :) |

Apex.. hmmm.. Honestly I wasn't really into going but once I got there I couldn't get the smile off my face.
Hirshee was finally on before my bedtime. Being sober makes it hard to hear him cause I'm always 3/4's asleep Hyperfunk sounded really good, kept me warm. His cd rocks. -- I was pretty tired and disoriented, but somehow managed to stay there until 530.. it was a good party. Good spirits... lotssss of people. Long lineup kinda sucked. Floor stage(ahhh wooden floor) <3<3 Wasn't diggin the music just loved the floor. Had trouble moving away from one stage(whatever one the above djs mentioned were at, didn't pay attention to name) the music was just really good. >No complaints. Didn't get bugbites, brought my own toilet paper. Took in some beef jerky and cornuts. It was a good time for me. |

By far yes.... you should of seen the lights they had. They would periodically have a white light all pointed straight... Lit up everything.... |

Apex this year was definitely an adventure. Nothing quite worked out as planned, but I still managed to have a great night. Hated the wait to get in, but it was totally worth it in the end.
Hyperfunk totally got my night started for me. I worship the decks he spins on. Sir Kutz was amazing, as well as the dj that was playing at the MS stage at the same time. Sweet breaks from her. Charlie, you rocked the beats, glad I managed to catch your set. Major Josh was my favorite new (at least to me) dj, wow, that was sweet. Was great seeing everyone again, and meeting those new fnk'ers that I did. Even those of you whom I may have met and not know to be fnk'ers. And Kat, how is it we manage to attend most of the same parties, yet never see each other? |

well you should of seen some of the tricks being pulled off An example. In the vip line there was a couple and the girls friends boyfriend is mr sinister. Supposively he left some of his vinyl in the car so what ended up happening is that they pretended that the guy was the dj and they got in instantly with the vinyl. |
