an idea.
Tiesto? why doesnt all of the production companies pitch in together, bring in the big man, i know for a fact people around everywhere will come to see him at apex, and sold out tickets as well, people from all places, alberta, washington, local.
its a good venture to look into. and it will promote alot of the locals too, since more people will come; and be exposed to all the promoters and production companies, djs, etc. its definitely a good venture: but its up to you guys. ticket prices can be bigger, and since apex's venue is large and spacious, more people will definitely come and fill up all the space and that means more people spendin at concessions, and more $. you guys think it out . even Pvd .. Apex will be huge after.. Last edited by Silky1; Aug 07, 05 at 10:57 PM. |

I'm not a promoter or anything..... but what I do know is that Apex is an excellent oppurtunity for local dj's and dj's that are making their cut on the scene, and have their name known eventually. People will see them at other venue's and will think "ya I saw that guy at apex... he spun some awesome shit...". To bring an international dj *cough*gag*superstar*cough*gag* like tiesto would be pointless. Imagine everyone all at 1 stage for most likely a minimum 4 hour set and then you got all these other stages and its all empty..... That would kinda hurt the scene in a way... a local dj's music style and talent wouldn't be heard.... They'd be playing for themselves and thats all.......

hey fuck wad, the line up was fucked up because of bad organization and stupidity. Is it too difficult to have organized fencing for ticket holders and non-ticket holders. Its idiots like you and many others that fuck things up. People got there at 6oclock and still were waiting two hours to get in asshole.
Fix the line up, cut down on the American like airport security at the gates and let people bring in water and food. |

hey dip shit you arn't allowed to bring in food and waters for a fucking reason get it through your thick skull. So you would rather be stabbed then wait an extra 30 or 40 minutes to have a proper security check wow lets hope you never promote a party in your fucking life.

Bad organization??? how many apex's have you been to??? do you know how many years apex has occured??? If it was such a bad organization I think apex would be long gone by now. Obviously there are 2 factors when it comes down the line up one is yes the entrance... sure they may have needed an extra 1 or 2 entrances (I wouldn't call it bad organization).... but another thing that you can't really control is crowd control. You just cannot control a crowd of that size. I know avana and security were screaming at people to stop pushing on the fence, that fence must of been pushed 6 feet inward where it was originally situated. This is my 3rd apex and that was the largest crowd I've seen there yet. I know people who have gone there for years and they said that its one of the largest if not thee largest crowds that they seen at apex. If people got there at 6 and waited for 2 hours.... then they must of been standing in the same god damn spot with everyone moving in front of them.... Besides when did the gates open again..... right..... |
