What a massive booze-fest. Nearly everyone was hammered, myself included... I have a funny feeling I managed to pull off some serious socializing despite mind numbing inebriation.
Z-trip's show was exactly like I thought it would be.. people on here have pretty much said anything that needed to be said, except maybe: How good are No Luck Club??? Love those guys.. |

Last night: Really really really DRUNK!
Now: really really really sicky... For my first time seeing Z-trip I was very empressed and the dude deffinently knows how to put on a thumpin entertaining show and showed some awsome talent. If the highlight of my night wasnt the cow bell or drum playing than it was deffinently seeing Jim, Kraig, and John holding hands together in the air and jumping up and down. Totaly entertained! |

I was hesitant to go because I'd seen Z 4 times and almost every time before he's impressed me with some great turntablism, but it was just that and I was getting tired of just that....I did not expect last night to be as good as it was at all. That show was one of the freshest and most innovative I have seen in a long time.
Wanted to really extend a hats off to spexx because the hard work he puts into his show always delivers, I really hope Vancity appreciates that. ps- did everyone fucking see the 604 hip hop expo flyer? That is re-donk-dick amount of sick acts packed into one week. I'm so excited. pps- also very excited to PUTS |

Yeah that was a dope ass show... It sucked that Black Sheep weren't there, I was pretty amped to see them. No Luck Club are wicked, I always enjoy seeing them. This was the first time I saw them with Plus Skratch, and they fuckin' killed it!! Goldenchyld rocked the place, he picked the energy up and had the place havin' a blast. I got fairly buzzed last night, but I remember he played a fat breakbeat with a certain smashing pumpkins vocal in it, that was unreal!! Z-Trip was really dope, not much else to say really. He had a great performance imo, alotta fresh elements in the mix. Busdriver ripped it, he spit really well last night. Z-Trip's friend on the drums accompanying Z, Busdriver and Goldenchyld on the cut made it an amazing live show!!!! The crwod was wicked last night, and the vibe in there was pretty huge!! Lol, earlier in the night I was mistaken for Z-Trip by some chick, I shoulda told her I was him... She was pretty cute :) I couldn't front though haha
