What they were doing is unacceptable, perhaps... but you will not see a solution to it if you bitch and complain about it on a web board.

The best way to address your concern is to file a complaint at city hall against the security company, and have city hall handle the issue for you and ensure this doesnt happen again.

It won't happen again cause it never did in the first place lol i wasn't there, jus givin my opinion on that venue

Aside from not having any booze there and the damn security I had a pretty damn good night. Met quite a few people, made it in time to catch Scotty Oh's set, danced my ass of during Jelo and chilled with mah girl Nat like all night. It was nice to see that the smoke pit wasn't all closed in and you could actually get fresh air out there (not that I smoke but meh).
And I think that bald security chick liked me or something, winkin at me when I left. eep.

sound system was good, but didnt dig the music during the time i was there.

Thanks to myself. Masterplan did a horrible job setting up for this party.. Problems everywhere. I had to fix the sound in the mainroom, aswell as the second room, when I arrived at midnight both rooms sounded like shit. I was pretty dissapointed with their level of production on this show.. :|

edit: and a note to anyone bitching about the security company. realize this. THEY ARE DOING THEIR JOB! keeping people safe in a controlled enviroment is what they are hired to do. it is common knowledge that you get SEARCHED when you go to a party. yes, i have noticed that the searches are well, more through as of late; but it all comes down to the fact that IF you have an issue with the way the company is doing their job, DON'T bitch and moan on a raver web board or criticize the promoters... file a complaint with the city and get it dealt with. either that or stfu and don't come to parties anymore.


edit x 2: for all the searches that I witnessed as i was waiting in line (and myself being searched for that matter), i can see that people have jumped on a bit of a bandwagon here. the female security officer that searched me felt along the wire of my bra and patted around the waist of my jeans. this was the most through search i've had since a plaza party and no one bitched about it then. since then however, searches have obviously been severely lacking if people think this is not proper. plus, when a flyer advertises on site searches, what are you expecting? a smile and a nod?
again, deal with it properly if you feel there is a violation in your privacy or don't bother coming out to events.

I agree with you 60%.

Security is doing their job by searching people and keeping the party safe. I think we can all agree on this. And Im sure most of us appreciate what security is there for. But its unacceptable for security to grab/ touch a person in an intimate area. I dont think that people should have to stop going to raves if they dont want to have their dick grabbed, or a hand shoved up their ass.

I also think its good that people talk about this stuff on the forum. That way you can actually tell if this was an issue for more than one person. Sure one person may think that security was being invasive, but if 10 + people think that the security was too intrusive than maby its actually an issue worth complaining about. If no one ever talks about these kind of things people wont feel like they have support and no one/ not enough people will file a complaint for it to make any difference.
