wasn't bad, nothing to write home about i thought.......empty at the beginning, filled up around...1am maybe?
Enjoyed a bit of scotty oh's set, and Jelo rocked the second room for his 2 hours. He had some trouble finding what the crowd liked, but his second half of the set had everyone hoppin. I cannot comment on main room, rarely was in there. shout outs later. sleep for me. |

just got home... man that was a long drive back to surrey. lots of fnkers at this one. i felt the vibe was lacking a little throughout the night.
shouts to pennywise - dude too bad you couldn''t stay till the end, believe me i was just as tired as you were but i had to stay. eighty5 - glad to see you made it out, thanks for trying to help my buddy out when security gave him the boot. a-bomb - i think you introduced yourself like 5 or 6 times. nice to meet you. ^^^^^ the drunken posse wasn't so drunk last night haha. Stimmy J - my mentor, thanks for staying i could see you were hella tired... dropped that last track just for you. Precise - glad to hear some breaks somewhere during the middle of the night. good stuff. Hirshee - you're a hard act to follow, i think i pulled it off. good to see you again. Jelo - hope you had a good time in Vancouver, you've known my girlfriend for so long its good to finally meet you. Harp & Kamal - thanks for the time slot. thanks for fitting me into the end of the night since the original plan wasn't going to work. anyone else i forgot, im sorry im just tired of typing but if we talked last night then you know its all good. Seriously it sucked so bad... security comes over, grabs my friend, who came from kelowna to see my set. they say they busted someone with coke and they pointed my friend out as the guy who helped to hook up the deal. the guy in the army shorts was the discription given. they told my friend, Thor, he had to point out the guy selling or he was getting kicked out. my friend has no idea because he wasn't involved so just like that they toss him out the door around 2:30 - 3:00. they totally sucked, i wish something could of been worked out but talking and getting the story straight was not a priority to the security gaurds last night. anyways, good party.... thanks to all who stayed to the bitter end to hear my set. later PS- Emil (sp?), good luck in afghanistan. come back safe bro. |

I don't know really where to start. I was hesistant about going to this rave from the get go, but went with Allison, Shawn and Alje and it turned out to be alright. Some of the sets were pretty tight. Jelo was awesome, he mixed a pretty nice set, though I only came in at the tail end of it. Everyone was enjoying themselves. The hip hop influenced sets were fun at around 3-4ish. Was nice to dance to something else. Wasn't in the main room all that much, but when I was it was good. Come in at about 11:30 and they were mixing "The Jam" which was pretty sweet (I think that's what is called, popular basketball song.) I found it to be quite dead though, like it seemed like there was hardly anyone there, and MLC isn't a big venue. Also, on a side note, the security were pretty hardcore... I haven't encounted any quite as stern as them.
SHOUTS :D Allison - thanks for the ticket :D Know you were tired an sleepy, but the McDonalds on the way home helped to revive you Shawn - good job in schooling them on how to set up their sound, but you were right.. it did suck Alje - *wiggles ears* Had a GREAT TIME enough said Nuf - sucks you got yarded out, but it was fun while you were here, burned the dance floors a few times. Too bad the thing that got you kicked out, was the drink you barely touched... neither you or I had much :< but waking me up wasn't cool haha, it's all good Jeff (wizzfish) - didn't know you were coming till I saw you, it was a pleasant surprise, nice glasses :D Pattywise - it was nice to finally meet you, sorry your jager got taken... you basically paid for your ticket in your losses, but it was fun being goofy... skate shoes :O We've come to the conclusion I am boob height... haha good times Twisted Angel - was nice dancing it up with you and your friend in the 2nd room to the hip hop, I didn't catch your friends name, but hi to her too :D Liquid Blue - didn't seem much of you around, but when I did you were cracking it, nice shirt it looks cool and I see you found some gloves. See you on the hill! Wanna go for coffee sometime? DC - keep dancing :D Jeff (bongman) - you were cold that sucked Everyone else that I met but didn't catch their name, met alot of FNK'ers, it was a great time. Harp was the hightlight in the main room during the time I was there (I left early 1:30AM). He dropped some sick, sick tracks. GOD MUSIC, YOJI, LONGEST DAY and other tracks I even recognize (and I'm very bad at remembering names of the tracks usually) :D Props HarpOh on a sick set!

Not Bad.....
The party was lacking a vibe....most people looked like zombie's out there that were forced to dance.....but there is always bunch of those @ everyparty....N e ways..... E kraig was pretty good....alot of new bangin tracks....or should i say alot of killer remixes that i haven't heard.....he played a sick remix or operation blade....thats was sweet.....his set progressed but it had couple tracks down the middle where it actually broke the vibe for me.....
Ed Real.....wow.....i could say....Hard House is Back.....this guy was truly amazing.....everything from the good old crazy long ass pull back to the sweet ass builds ups....had it all.....nice hard tracks that were straight to the point.....NUKLEUZ.....brought out some sweet old school tracks too.... .... Can't wait for doom's night.....ohhhh anne savage and signum.... peace |
