I haven't been to the red room in a couple months, but it always seems the exact same to me.

lastnight was my first time @ aqua and the red room.
both we're alot of fun.

I <3 the music at Aqua but the vibe from the ppl inside kinda made me feel weird. However it was nice to see ppl that I knew... however I never actually got to meet them. :( damn me and my shyness!

I dont know how you try to make a comment on a night your barley ever at? Infact the ONLY time ive ever seen you there (1/30) was at a Cargo/Beleive night with a high majority of the cargo crowed.

Calling the red room a rave for older people is like calling the majority of club culture a rave.

Personaly I think the numbers look more like this... 20% E, 40% coke, 35% G, and the last 5% is for myra and our crew :D

Rhia darling... I'm not slamming the night so don't get your panties in a knot. Hell, I send people to the night all the time and have known and respect Nicky for a lot longer than you've been in the scene!

Nicky's night has a very similar crowd and sound to Scott and Scott's very sucessfull Friday's that were there for years previously. I am familar also with a lot of the crowd that goes there as well.

It's all good even if 80% of the peeps are on E. I mean hell, that's 500+ peeps paying cover every damn week although liquor sales would be lower and water sales would be through the roof! (Hence why water isn't cheap there.)

Not slamming the night? Well how would you feel if Nicky called Blue a rave crowed? Again your only asuming that 80% of ppl are on E/drugs after I spent over a month with out a single drop of alcohole in my system inspired by another regular at the red room.

Actually I would beg to differ with our bar sales alone at CARGO. Don't get me wrong, I know full well of the drug element at our shows I'm just saying.

Hell... Nicky can call BLUE a "drunk crowd" for all I care!

Especialy being apart of another night I would think you would be more sensitive to others nights. Not to metion caling a club night a rave for older ppl is quite childish with the reputation raves have here in Vancouver.

I've known you to visit many nights before but just have never seen you so passionate about a night nor have I seen you get on the defensive for one which is why I was asking.

As for a general statement... don't forget that I know people that do go there and sometimes we get a lot of that crowd wanting a change in scenery or music who have said the same thing to me at their own will.

The night is clearly successful Rhia and I mentioned, I send people there too at times! As you've said, we partnered with the night to bring a big name there.

haha but in all fairness lovely, I pop in on a lot of saturdays and went there almost every saturday in the summer and I totally agree with what he said and believe it is fairly accurate.

There are no Beleive promoters or resident dj's on fnk. Personal I love the night and atmospher and wish alot more ppl would give it a chance and join me once in awhile. The red room is what I concider one of my saturday night homes (including Blue ;)) Making fun of the red room is like making fun of the place I choose to hang out. If anyone from the red room or other club were to make fun of Blue I would for sure speak up and give my opinion. However we dont have that problem here on fnk ;)
