ok....good news and bad news

first the bad news...

SHIMON wil not be in attendance tonight. While all permits etc. were secured for him to enter Canada, there were issues with his American work visa. Basically what it boiled down to is that while he COULD have come here there were no guarantees he'd be able to re-enter the U.S. to contiue with his tour. Faced with jeopardizing his U.S. tour in order to play a handful of Canadian west coast dates he felt he had no choice but to cancel. Rest assured we're all upset about this, and all parties will be working to bring him back in the near future.

the good news...

Fuck it, we're throwing the party anyways. When the visa issue first cropped up we decided to hold ticket prices at $10 until we were 100% certain what the situation was. We've decided to drop door prices to $15 and go through with the party so everyone has something to do tonight. As it stands our prices are about what you'd expect for a party with your favourite locals so hopefully this keeps everyone happy and is less of a disappointment than if we simply canceled.

anyways, hopefully we'll see you all there and let's tear the roof off the mother tonight.
