I know a group owns the Commodore and when I was scoping out the venue for an event the people I was working with told me it was the same group that comprises the HOB. If this isn't true then now I know.

The capacity there is a tricky thing.

If you run your tickets through ticketmaster, they're only allowed to print a maximum of 900 tickets for the venue.

If you read more carefully i said close to 1500. The firemarshalls you say? I do recall an event that had 300 over capacity The firemarshall was there most of the night but hey it didn't get shut down.
