Considering TIESTO came two years ago and sold out so quick, and now again the same again, why don't these idiots who bring him in think about a bigger venue possibly? WHY NOT GM PLACE for crying out loud or something along that scale? They would make just as much money, if not more, and make everyone happy. Now people are pissed off because both shows sold out so quick!!!!!

so what you are trying to explain here is that commodore sold out both shows (1500x2) it be best to throw him in GM place which is 10,000+ and it would be a sell out guarantee? just some advice for you. think before you post

1) Because the sound at GM Place sucks ass compared to a venue like the Commodore.

2) The 'House of Blues' who is promoting the event also owns the Commodore.

3) GM Place costs mega $$$ to rent. See point #2

Considering he plays in full-size soccer stadiums or other large scale venues all across europe, i'm pretty sure the sound and atmosphere there is just as good, if not better. I just think someone should just realize the potential this could've been, some better marketing, people coming from all over the northwest, sounds like a goldmine to me!!!!

As far as I know, HOB doesn't own the commodore.

They merely have a contract with them.

this is due to their liquor licensing.

allbeit 1 less than 1000, it still falls under that category.

As for HOB owning the commodore, that is completely false.

Roger Gibson and a collective of share holders own the commodore.

As I stated before HOB merely has a contract with the venue itself to list it as an official "HOB VENUE".

Jim... you know the details of a liquor license better than I so a capacity of 999 it is then. :)

I know a group owns the Commodore and when I was scoping out the venue for an event the people I was working with told me it was the same group that comprises the HOB. If this isn't true then now I know.
