Rude Chick At The Movies

So me and my gf went to watch the sneak preview for Texas Chainsaw last night at Metrotown. We go in and sit in in a row with another couple who are about 5 chairs down. Of course with respect to other people you turn your cell phone to vibarate and avoid talking on the phone. My gf was texting with somebody and that chick yells out turn off your phone. Follows up by throwing popcorn at my gf. The chick leaves to go buy a drink and on her way back as she walks by us kicks my gfs leg.

We are furious and are trying to stay calm and avoid breaking out a fight in the theatre. Plus we are trying to stay really mature and not stopp to their level. First of all we were not bothering anyone in any way. My gf was not talking on the phone, her phone was not making any noises at all from texting, heck even the light on the phone wasn't bright and shining in anyones face.

As we leave my gfs pushes her, the chicks says something again so i spit my gum at her face. Her bf says something and comes to push me which i saw so i pushed him at the same time. I still try to stay calm and didnt' want to bring out my old self from a few years back where i would of attacked him rite away. So i didn't (which was really hard). Meh just a rant. I just coudlnt believe how fucking rude this chick was.

that's when you get mini gummi bears and chuck them at people. They don't know where it came from but yet its big enough for them to be like "wtf" :D

They were both white both probably about mid 20's. If i really had to throw stereotypes and assumptions and they looked liek they were from surrey. If that were to be true should i make another stereotype and say it was expected? lol

Meh imo just like the other texas chainsaw with diff kids getting killed. Not really scary and not really gorey. I only watched it cause i got free tickets for it. If you like the first one then watch it i guess cause its like the same pretty much.

Exactly. Im 23 about to be 24. Like i said i was trying to stay mature and not do something I would of done a few years ago for sure. Which would of including throwing a drink at her and then running over and jump kicking her bf and then proeceeding with me going nuts. I just watched Bad Boys 2 on TV the other day and the words "Woo Sha" came to my head during the movie haha.

i went to a flick at silvercity last week and these girls sitting a row in front of us had their phones out texting people throught he whole fucking movie. really annoying because the bright screens were really distracting to the eye in an otherwise dark theatre. not worth making an issue out of it but it's inconsiderate, once the film has started put your fucking phone away and watch the movie.

on top of that there was a mother with her 3 kids a few seats down and the kids kept walking around while the movie was on, constantly making people stand up & annoying the people behind us. mom made NO attemp whatsoever to keep the kids in their seats. if you can't keep your kids under control, don't bring them to the cinema please. plus there were a few groups of young teens who didn't shut their fucking pie holes throughout the entire film. i won't be going to any more movies at silvercity any time soon. :P

it's such a pain when people are disrespectful during movies, we barely get out anymore and money is tight - so when we do go out, finally get a babysitter and spend 30 bucks on a movie, it's such a let down when people ruin it for you :(

I refuse to go to the Metrotown Silvercity.
Shit always happens there and it's never enjoyable.

I remember I was watching a movie with someone and there were these 2 chicks laughing and disrupting the entire movie for everyone.
(chatting on phone, texting, conversing during silent parts of the movie)... 20 minutes in, I just said to them ...
"hey, here's an idea, shut the fuck up and watch the movie"

5 minutes later.

they left lol...

When I saw A History of Violence in Sydney's downtown Multiplex, I got pissed off by not one, but TWO Asian couples.. one of whom I'd actually helped out by moving over to make space.. both the couple to my left, and the couple behind me had their cells go off during the film (bad enough) and actually ANSWERED THEM AND HAD A FULL BLOWN CONVERSATION.

Do you think that, because I can't understand what you're saying.. it's not annoying?

A History of Violence strikes me as pretty much the last movie where you'd want to piss off randoms.. what if I'd decided some vigilante justice was called for??

When I saw Superman Returns in Korea, at least 5 people's cell phones went off during the course of the movie. A few of them just let it ring without answering (some got called back again.. only to let it ring again!), and a couple of them answered and had full out conversations.

On a side note, there were 2 trailers for movies that were blatant ripoffs of the Grudge/Ju On. (They weren't just similar, as I understand that Asian horror movies often look very alike).

most likely chinese. yes my race sucks like that lol. Im sure none of you have ever been to a chinese theatre. Well guess you cant anymore cause they dont exist in Van now since pirating shit is so in our culture that hey it made them go out of business.
