it's already been confirmed. it was confirmed yesterday actually.
the e. coli they found was up at UBC, from a non-residential water source. they flushed the pipe and retested and further tests have found no e. coli. so there's no e. coli, and no has gotten sick, and it doesn't really matter. most commercial places now are doing this in the same way the city is.. just to cover their asses! (and i don't blame them, people will try anything).
and not to mention, unless you have a VERY weak immune system (whether you are very young child, a very old person or suffer from an immuno defienciency disorder) you aren't going to die. i've had problems with e. coli about 854390284032 times in my life and i'm still here. :P
