it's already been confirmed. it was confirmed yesterday actually.

the e. coli they found was up at UBC, from a non-residential water source. they flushed the pipe and retested and further tests have found no e. coli. so there's no e. coli, and no has gotten sick, and it doesn't really matter. most commercial places now are doing this in the same way the city is.. just to cover their asses! (and i don't blame them, people will try anything).

and not to mention, unless you have a VERY weak immune system (whether you are very young child, a very old person or suffer from an immuno defienciency disorder) you aren't going to die. i've had problems with e. coli about 854390284032 times in my life and i'm still here. :P

The water hasn't been that bad for the last few days. As of like last Wed my shower stopped smelling like dirt and it became clear again. :) Now just the stupid snow to deal with lol

it's so nice to live in new west 2 blocks away from 2 starbucks and be able to drink the tasty drinks!

i was in downtown on the weekend at tim hortons, wanted a hot chocolate, they didnt serve any :(

haha my crazy bf put 2000 flushes in his toilet so that the water didnt look brown and disgusting

oh and SFU coffee shops served lattes all through the advisory, starbucks shouldve done that too

Yeah the odd coffee shops will serve their usual drinks, I've been trying out Cafe Artigianno (sp?) in Kerrisdale, pretty good stuff, I like :)
