getting yelled at
I understand you're frustrated with your cell phone, but I don't call you at work and yell at you now do I? No!
I am so tired of being yelled at today, it seems like every other call I get it's someone yelling at me. Today sucks. |

^ We have that to if they insult you or use bad language towards you, you can give them 2 warning and then disconnect the phone call. When they just yell and rant about the bill I'm not sure where the line is to disconnect the call. They've never been specifically rude to me they just yell about "bell" in general.

I'm pretty sure yelling at someone is considered aggression. Tell them if they don't calm down and speak to you in an appropriate manner, you'll be forced to disconnect them and that they can call back when they've calmed down.
As long as you were polite and professional about it, I can't see how anyone would give you flak for it, aside from the angry customer. |

The joy of my job is that by the time the customers are talking to me they've already spent upwards of 10+ hours dealing with annoying accents, broken english, awful hold music and about 2 weeks of "waiting for a response".
The only joy I have is that they're so overjoyed that I'm easy to understand and that I'm good at the job that they do whatever I say as if my word is God. |

I think it was today, everyone was crabby in telus landline too... everyone had something to bitch about, there was no happy customers!
