Getting stuck in Castlegar

Yeah, we took the north road on the way back from Shambles three years ago and the car broke down in Penticton. Thankfully I gave myself an extra two days to get home.

I think I would have enjoyed it if I wasn't having to start a job the day we couldn't get home..
We kind of came to terms with it though, ended up just accepting the fact...and had a good night...before the day of hellishness in trying to get the car diagnosed.
Castlegar though,
It's so Metal.
It further encompassed my love for Dragonforce.


(we picked up Melons on the way home.)........
basically there was fruit stuffed into every possible space of the car.

that reminds me of a wonderful story from my youth,

know the road that links tofino to ucluelet?...well back when i was dating lady dame/pearl miller/whatever her name is now lol,we went out there on a camping trip and packed my little 82 chevy to the brim,,,we picked up some hitchhikers and i litterally rode ontop of the roof of the car from ucluelet all the way up to tofino...it was awsome.

...loved the expression of the oncomming cars. familys just enjoying he scenery and then all of a sudden they see a freaky long hair hippie on top of a overpacked beater chevy.

those my dear.....were the days! :)
