Fuck'n Roommate

My roommate's name is Rob and he just arrived in Vancouver from Japan on June 6th. He said he would arrive a week earlier, but he missed his first flight. I picked him up at the airport and when I met him I noticed he looked a bit different. Actually, he lost all of his top teeth to a skateboarding accident recently. We took a cab home and I set him up in his room and let him have some rest. Today is the 11th and he still hasn't gotten out of bed! I asked him what's wrong and he admits to a huge crystal meth binge before taking the plane over. I asked if he had his rent and he say's he will get it from his dad this Friday. What's worse, is that he's completely rude. I ask him simple questions and he pretends to be sleeping. The only time he talks to me is when he wants to roll a joint, then he heads back to his room. He hasn't showered or brushed his teeth in a week!
Who is this loser in my house?
I've decided to give him until Friday/Saturday to pay his rent (not including deposit) and if he doesn't have it, I'll kick him out. The youth hostel can have him, because I'm at the end of my rope.
What am I gonna do?

Seriously, you may not have known he had a problem then, but the guy is missing teeth, has been in his room for 5 days, and has admitted to having a meth binge that doesn't sound like it's ended.

I don't think you should even considder letting him stay if he pays you, just get rid of him!

you got references though, right? and he moved to Vancouver for an internship, you'd seen his pic, you talked to him, etc.

i saw one pic. his grandma was his reference and the goal was to pretty much destroy him. we acheived the goal and he came back for seconds.

I kicked him out last night at 11pm and sent him to a youth hostel. He didn't put up any fight and got on a bus towards downtown. Now, he's someone elses problem and I can rest easier. Unfortunatley, I'm still out his portion of the rent, so I'm gonna e-mail his mom and request that she cover's his half. Next roommate will require some serious screening processes.
