U call it "Sun City", but dis place be wun ov de nation's very poor, very rough, 'n' very very bad places of Porto'prinz.
Dis be one ov de very big slums north ov de Equator.

Dere be no gendarms, no sewers, no stores, 'n' no lektri'si'te ta speak aboot.

Dis 'hood, yoos ta be fer day labourers fer a local "Export Processing Zone", but become le domoseel ta squatters frum aroun' de countryside look-look fer work in de fresh made factories.

Apray de 1991 coup d'etat that kick out President Jean Bertrand Aristide, America boycotted Haitian products, 'n' dis close the EPZ.

Si'teh Soley soon become very poor, always no work, 'n' very much no readin 'n writin here.

It be a tiny place representin Haiti's problems 'n' trubbels sometin fierce.

Haiti is like the old black ghettos of NYC after that black drug dealer made a deal with the Italian mafia to control slinging hash in Harlem in the 70s.

Parts of that 'hood became a totalitarian regime controlled by a gang of drug dealers.

Thus today Haiti is basically a totalitarian regime controlled by anti Aristides rich people whose police are more corrupt than during Aristides' reign and under the influence of his Lavalas posse.

Much of the rise of criminal gangs can be attributed to not spending money on the poorest part of Port-au-Prince.

Instead, America had to spend $20 million on Cité Soleil and help get the UN solja boys (MINUSTAH) in there.

Though, MINUSTAH has been accused of causing more problems in Sun City, that the residents there would be glad to see the last of them when they wipe out all the criminal gangs.

Even so, I vote it as the top #1 place to visit under armed guard as a tourist spot. God knows, the UN needs tourist dollars due to the stinginess of the US.
