Wanna charge me 1/3 the ticket price ($8) in service charge on a $24 ticket. Are you kidding me?! Even worse I find out the ticket booth for the Commodore is managed by Ticketmaster so the service charge is unavoidable. What the shit, pretty much gotta skip a show to make a personal point. Ridiculous.

yeah this was literally the difference of me going or not going. glad that i found livestock had tickets with no s/c there was no way I was going to pay the fees at TM. (and actually the fees were over $12, not $8 - at least last time I checked)

I'm surprised that _you're_ surprised at their antics. They've been consistently pushing the envelope of rip-off for years.

I have gladly avoided most Ticketshyster (Ticketbastard) events, out of pure disgust.

Onscario was looking at new legislation in order to end the practice of funneling tix to their subsidiary who then (legally) scalp them at inflated prices, since the gig is then officially "sold out".

I once went down to Ticketfuckers head office to grab tix for a gig, and was informed they do not sell tix there!

WTF?! A company doesn't DO what it's supposed to do?!

I got into an arguement with them once. I ordered tickets, and noticed that I was paying some stupid fee for printing them out on my computer. I emailed them and asked why, they explained it was a convenience fee.

So I figured, fine, I pass at ticket master booth everyday on the way home, I'll buy them there. They charged me again. The clerk explained it was for the convenience of being able to pick them up right away.

Determined to beat this, I the next time I bought tickets, I selected the only other, least convenient option, and had them mailed to me. I was charged $5 for the convenience of having them mailed to me.

EVERY OPTION CAN'T HAVE A CONVENIENCE FEE?!?!?!?

I hate ticketmaster so much, i just spent 230$ for four social distotion tickets that were 39.50 each. That means 158 plus tax so thats 180. paying 50$ for what? i get will call too, so i dont even get my tickets unless igo there iwth my credit card at the venue day of. Retarted system, the service fee should be on the whole order not each ticket IMO.

For the most part it's the fee that's not convenient... so they should call it an INCONVENIENCE FEE.. ~ then maybe they'll at least have less people mad at them ... for being honest. Hah.
